Would absolutely recommend staying here! Location is fabulous! It is walkable to pretty much anywhere in the city - 3 minute walk to Bus Stop 4 located at Miðbakki (this is important if taking tours), 10 min walk to Bónus grocery store, and close to pharmacy, shopping, convenience stores, Vínbúðin alcohol, museums, restaurants. Yet it's quiet! We stayed in unit 303. Staff were welcoming, helpful, informative, friendly and efficient. There is an elevator. Entrances are secure so only guests can enter/leave. Any time we would leave, we always came back to a cleaned unit. It was spotless! When in Iceland, eating out can get pricey. A kitchen is a must, especially if trying to remain on budget. We made our breakfasts, some lunches and dinners. Fridge is full-sized with freezer drawers (some pre-stocked mini bar type items inside FOR A COST). Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. for meal prep. They have salt and pepper. We used our butter instead of buying oil. If you need extra fluffy towels, Nespresso coffee pods, or other cleaning products, we asked at the front desk. They provide toothbrushes, shaving razor, liquid soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, kitchen towels. Safe worked well. Hair dryer, robes and slippers also provided. Beds were comfy and perfect amount of "soft". Lighting in the bathroom wasn't the greatest but there was a good reading lamp in the bedroom if needed. They also have a magnifying fold out mirror in the bathroom. The light and temperature controls were rather neat ... all electronically controlled by us. Two TV sets with plenty of channels, and a radio. All in good working order. The only down-ish sides: - our balcony faced a black roof so no view to speak of but not a big deal because we didn't spend any time out there (cold!) and were out a lot of the time. - parking was 35 Euro a day (but it was in a locked secure garage) - I ended up splashing water everywhere as the shower only has a half door but again, not a big deal as there is a floor mat and you can wipe up with used towels afterwards ... the water pressure and temperature control was fabulous by the way! - I would suggest a shoe mat under the radio shelf by the unit door as we left puddles with our boots. Thank you for a lovely stay! I hope to come back here on our next visit to Iceland!

“Perfect for town”

This hotel is also a few apartments. So perfect for town! We were able to walk to rainbow road, shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. So clean and beautiful!

“Wonderful - why go anywhere else!”

Absolutely perfect! Well appointed and in the ideal location. Staff Could not have been nicer, super helpful and made us feel so welcome. The apartment has everything you could possibly need! I would happily stay here again if we visit Iceland in the future.

This was our second stay, our first stay was in May 2025. We stayed in the economy room and we loved it. This time we stayed in the deluxe room and it was more worn down. We had some issues with the sofa bed, that housekeeping resolved. We also had an issue with the wash machine and dryer. It left our clothes smelling bad unless we dried them to a crisp. They tried to remedy it by putting vinegar for a cycle, but I think it needed to be totally deep cleaned with bleach. Maybe something was wrong like mold was in the drum? There was some staining on the chairs and the fabric blinds that were pretty noticeable. There was also duck tape of the balcony joints, which was a little scary. The door that was supposed to close from the elevator lock wasn't working. The staff wasn't the most welcoming. One of the reasons that we wanted to stay there again was because the staff was great the first time. But it seemed like they were frazzled this time and continuously mentioned how booked they were for the holidays. On the plus side the view was great and the hotel is close to everything.
