“Comfortable home-base for exploring Iceland!”
This hotel was a great fit as our home-base for exploring Iceland! We stayed in a Church View room and had that spectacular view the whole time! “excelent location, nice staff”
the location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, the wi-fi is poor and the whole house(s) is getting old but still I think it is a good choice

“Good location”
Location was good, staff was friendly, but the room was very small. Also we heard some construction or something at midnight. I know they were doing some kind work during the day, but we definitely heard something in the middle of the night. Thankfully we were too tired and jet lagged to care.

The location is ideal - across the street from Hallgrimskirkja Church and Bus stop #8 where we met our tour. Also easy walking to shops and restaurants in Reykjavík. Ok hotel located in the middle of downtown Reykjavik. Service is also ok. Breakfast is not exciting, as there is no warm food - i.e. eggs are cooked and served cold.
