Location: This romantic hotel is located in the old city center which is the favourite part of Reykjavík. It lies on Aðalstræti, one of Reykjavík’s oldest streets, in a newly renovated building, the oldest part of which was built in 1764. On either side of it, new buildings have been built in the likeness of their historic predecessors Fjalakötturinn.

“Lovely hotel”
Excellent service in a charming and well maintained hotel with quality breakfasts. Location was great, close to bus stops, in center of the city, among the original roads in Reykjavik. Can’t ask for a better option when traveling in Reykjavik

“Rooms to street can be loud”
The breakfast was fantastic. Our room was very very warm and we could not regulate it because the windows can not be opened very much. “Fabulous location in the city center”
We enjoyed several nights a this lovely hotel, conveniently located in the city center and not too noisy (we had a room on 4th floor towards the back).
