Stayed with family for 7 nights in printing press courtyard building. There are 9 buildings but close to each other. Great location just steps from main shopping street. Bonus grocery store minutes away. Can use phone to access building and rooms but we asked for a physical key. There was a slight issue in our family studio Room but we called and were upgraded to a family suite for last 3 nights which was super nice. Shout out to Sindri at reception. He was kind and helpful. Kitchenettes are awesome as you can cook if you like since eating out is super expensive. Grocery prices are quite reasonable for basics like milk, fruit, snacks etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again

“Spacious, clean rooms with modern amenities in a perfect location”

I love this hotel! The location is spectacular; just off the main street in the centre of Reykjavik, a quick walk to the most popular landmarks in the city. I love this hotel! The location is spectacular; just off the main street in the centre of Reykjavik, a quick walk to the most popular landmarks in the city. The hotel is clean and modern and has a small 24 hour "bar" with an espresso machine, plus snacks and drinks available for purchase. We stayed in a family suite which was really large: full kitchen, seating area, couch, balcony, and two curtained bedrooms (though no doors; be aware if you travel with snorers). The staff was fantastic: helpful, kind, and always at the desk (usually two people!). Highly recommend staying here.

This apartment hotel was the best! The hotel is actually several buildings that have been renovated and all have a particular flavor. We were in the Embassy building and has a lovely suite that was exactly right-sized for the two of us. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the old town, Harpa, the #6 Bus Stop (where tours leave from), shopping, restaurants - just about everywhere. The staff is fantastic - very welcoming and helpful! One of the most charming parts is that every day a basket of fruits, cheeses, juice, milk, cereal, butter, jam, etc is placed in your refrigerator. And every morning between 7:30 and 8:00 a bag of fresh bread from Sandholt is hung on your door. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

family of 4 just spent 4 nights at Reykjavik Residences Apartment block in the Printing Building on Hverfisgata 78, Reykjavík 101 and is one street below Laugavgur which is possibly the main street in the city with loads of shops, restaurants and bars. We heard no noise from this street. We were in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment (no 504) which had absolutely everything we needed including a fully fitted kitchen, open plan dining/living room. All quality Furniture/appliances including Bosch and Siemens, a safe, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Ours also had 2 small terraces. There was a double sofa bed and all cutlery etc for 6 guests. Daily maid service if you want it and they encourage/facilitate recycling which we liked. Self check-in but the main reception apartment/hotel is 2 blocks/a few mins walk away if you need anything. They have different sized apartments in 10 buildings throughout the city. I only wish they had properties in other cities! The apartment is close to most attractions, including a few minutes stroll to the Sun Voyager Sculpture on the seafront and around 10 mins walk to the old harbour. I communicated with staff by email in the run up to arriving and spoke with them whilst we were there and the customer service was second to none. Happy to recommend to anyone visiting the city especially families and groups of friends as it allowed us to make our own breakfasts and packed lunches for daily excursions. Basic cooking and kitchen cleaning supplies are provided.
