“Beautiful building, unique atmosphere and view. Definitely not a standardized chain. Good value for money.”
We stayed at Héraðsskólinn (The district school) guesthouse for a weekend, and we loved it. Good beds, great view, basic but good food, friendly staff and good value for money. specially when compared to hotels in the surroundings.

“Perfect if you don’t mind the shared bathroom”
The rooms were nice, not much room for 3 people but it worked for us. The shared bathroom did not work in my opinion we often had to wait to use the shower and wasn’t a fan of getting ready for the day with strangers 😂.
