“Best Restaurant Outside of Reykjavik”
What a surprise!! We stumbled across this wonderful restaurant at the Lava Resort after visiting Kirkjufell. It was tastefully decorated like an upscale barn, I can actually see the space used for events like weddings, look into it!! We are not normally red meat eaters but decided on the roast lamb… more

“Perfect family spot”
We had a truly wonderful stay at Miðhraun – Lava Resort! Tucked away in the Icelandic countryside, this location was perfect for exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in a loop. “Lovely place”
We were lucky enough to stay in one of the cottages for 3 nights. Such a relaxing place. The beds are comfy, it's very quiet and the breakfast is very good.
