I stayed at the resort for two nights prior to beginning my ashram stay, which was the main purpose of my trip. Although my visit was short, it was a very positive experience overall. As a solo traveler visiting India for the first time, I really appreciated the support from the staff in arranging my arrival. They were extremely helpful and transparent, offering both hotel-organized transfers and more budget-friendly self-arranged options from the airport. I chose the hotel transfer, and everything went smoothly, which gave me great peace of mind. I stayed in a Deluxe Air-Conditioned Room and balcony, which was very spacious and quiet. The view over the water, with small boats and birds, was especially beautiful and calming. The resort area itself is very clean and well maintained. (Yes, you may notice some litter in surrounding public areas (in the water), I personally see this as part of the broader travel context in India rather than a reflection of the hotel.) The room was peaceful, and I did not hear any noise from neighboring guests, which made it easy to relax. The bathroom was functional and had everything needed, although it could benefit from some light renovation as it feels a bit dated. The location is another highlight — set away from busy roads, it offers a quiet and serene atmosphere with lovely views and bird sounds. The entire team was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. It didn’t surprise me to meet several returning guests of all ages who have been coming here for years. The wellness treatments were a standout — excellent quality, delivered with care and respect by a very friendly team. Unfortunately I did not bring enough time to make a proper plan with the doctor as many of the 10-14 days guests do. The restaurant food was great and there were many Indian guests, too. I truly hope to return, and next time I would definitely stay longer — ideally two weeks instead of just two nights. I can highly recommend it!

I am writing to share my feedback following our recent two-night stay at the Beach & Lake Ayurvedic Resort in Kovalam. We visited the area to explore the local beaches and the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and overall, it was a pleasant and wonderful experience. Upon our arrival, Dr. Gowtham assisted us to our room and made us feel very comfortable. We had booked a Superior Deluxe room with breakfast included; the room was neat, tidy, and offered a beautiful view facing the beach. I also appreciated that the room cleaning was handled diligently on a daily basis. Regarding the dining experience, I found the breakfast to be average and feel it could be improved given that the resort has its own restaurant. However, the other food served at the restaurant—particularly the seafood and biryani—was amazing. I must also highlight the Ayurvedic full body massage, which was a 10/10 experience for me. Mr. Eden deserves special recognition for taking additional efforts during our visit. Generally, the entire staff was very helpful and provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay. Thank you for a memorable visit.
