​We stayed in two different room categories during our trip. For the first couple of nights, we were in a Luxury Room on the highest floor of the older building, which was spacious, manageable, and featured a nice private balcony. We then shifted to a Himalayan View Room in the new building on the minus two level; the view was just as fantastic from here, and the room itself felt much more luxurious with modern touches like temperature control. The only real drawback of the Himalayan View Room is that it sits directly underneath the restaurant, meaning we were disturbed late at night by the sound of furniture being moved around during their closing cleanup. Additionally, because these are east-facing rooms, the morning sunlight streams in from around 6:00 AM onwards; while they do provide thick curtains to block the windows, gaps on the sides still let light leak through early in the morning. Overall, the views from this property are easily some of the best you will find in Manali, offering a stunning panoramic look at the river, valley, green mountains, and snow-capped peaks, though we definitely recommend booking a room in the newer building if you can. ​When it comes to dining, room service is readily available and the food pricing is decent and fair, but the execution and basic standards fall flat. When we ordered food to our room, the staff member brought it completely uncovered without any hygiene protection, and we actually had to scold him before they finally started wrapping the plates in foil for subsequent orders. The overall taste of the food is not great, and it feels incredibly heavy on the stomach and far too oily, which makes you not want to eat there very much. The selection and variety on the breakfast menu are also subpar. The one saving grace in the restaurant is Sandeep, who genuinely tries his absolute best to accommodate guests and deliver a good experience despite the management limitations. ​The biggest issues during our stay came down to service efficiency and housekeeping standards, as the hotel was completely sold out and the staff clearly crumbled under the pressure. Basic hospitality was missing, to the point where staff wouldn't even serve water unless we explicitly asked for it. Housekeeping across the rooms lacks attention to detail, but the restaurant area during breakfast was a complete mess. It was frequently difficult to find a place to sit, tables were left uncleared with used utensils everywhere, and with kids running around throwing things, the entire dining experience lacked the standard and feel of a proper hotel. They urgently need a dedicated housekeeping person stationed in the restaurant during peak hours to maintain cleanliness.
