I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and booked 2 rooms for a family of 6. I booked their standard category and I got the room adjacent to each other. Location - Awesome! right at Police Bazar, and since I visited in new year, the entire market was decorated. This hotel is at the perfect juncture where all cafes and good restaurants , along with market is nearby. They had good parking area for pick up and drop off and taxi stand next to hotel. Front Desk - It was good, the hotel share the building with 2 parts. New and Old. The new one is called Shillong address and the old building is center point. While I booked in the old building, there was no major issues in the room except that it was not modern. The reception area was good and had waiting area. Rooms: Good decent rooms, clean and big, bathroom was clean. Positive feeling as it has lot of sunlight coming in the room starting morning 0530 AM. You can have sunshine from room itself. However, this is also a disadvantage since room didnt had sunblock curtains or roller windows. Hotel management should look into this as it might be problematic for the one who wake up late. Also, it has traffic noise coming from outside, hotel management should work on sound proofing. Bathroom was clean and has basic toiletries. Restaurant - good food, but high cost. I didnt opted for breakfast option as there were many cafes around. Room service was top notch, the requests were addressed at lightning speed. Overall, I enjoyed my all 3 days in this hotel and my family had wonderful time. Will stay again if hotel management could address sun blocker curtains and sound proofing.

The food was authentic and very tasty, and the staff were extremely caring and cooperative. A big thank-you to the entire team for their warm hospitality. It would be great if an indoor games room could be added for guests.

“Good place to experience a hustle”

So this hotel , true to its name, is right at the centre of Shillong, int he middle of the bustling Police Bazaar. So this hotel , true to its name, is right at the centre of Shillong, int he middle of the bustling Police Bazaar. As a result, the area is congested, reaching here is a task with huge traffic, but the same time, one can feel the pulse of Shillong from the windows , enjoy the hustle and bustle, and also roam around the Police Bazaar till late at night. The hotel rooms need upkeep, they are small, and look slightly dated. The bathrooms definitely need a refurbishing. We stayed for one night and encountered helpful staff and pretty nice breakfast spread. The view from the rooms is nice, you get the feeling of being in a valley surrounded by mountains where clouds roam freely. Choose this if you can overlook the dated feel and enjoy the melee.
