⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) After travelling from Bengaluru to Chennai on our way back home to Mauritius, my family and I decided to spend a day resting before our international flight. Choosing Radisson Blu Chennai turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. One tip for future guests: register and book directly through the hotel’s website. We did this and received a complimentary airport transfer, which was an excellent benefit. The hotel is also conveniently located just about 15 minutes from Chennai International Airport, making it an ideal choice for anyone with an early morning or late-night flight. Even before arriving, the hotel impressed us with the flexibility offered on its website. We opted for the confirmed early check-in at 9:00 AM and the full-board package, which was absolutely worth it. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Aman at the Front Desk welcomed us warmly, explained everything clearly, and personally escorted us to the breakfast buffet while our room was being prepared. That thoughtful gesture immediately made us feel valued. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a room without even asking. The spacious room with two double beds was perfect for our family of three. Every detail reflected luxury, from the elegant bathroom with its bathtub and remote-controlled privacy glass to the amazing massage shower, which was incredibly relaxing after days of travelling. A special thank you also goes to Baskaran, who took the time to show us around the hotel. Thanks to him, we even enjoyed a refreshing swim in the beautiful rooftop pool on the fifth floor, where we were staying. The dining experience exceeded all expectations. The breakfast buffet had an impressive variety, while both lunch and dinner were equally lavish. Dinner was particularly memorable, with live piano music creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. Throughout every meal, Mr. Andrew from the restaurant management team made a point of greeting guests and checking that everything was perfect. That personal attention did not go unnoticed. The hotel itself is stunning, combining modern luxury with thoughtful green touches, such as the beautiful miniature ecosphere displays throughout the property. Throughout our stay, staff regularly approached us to ask if we needed anything, making us feel genuinely cared for rather than simply accommodated. As we checked out early the next morning for our flight to Mauritius, we were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful Radisson mug and freshly baked cookies as a farewell gift. It’s thoughtful gestures like these that truly distinguish an outstanding five-star hotel from the rest. Although we stayed for just one day, we left with wonderful family memories. Thank you to Aman, Baskaran, Mr. Andrew, and the entire Radisson Blu Chennai team for making the final stop of our holiday so relaxing and memorable. We will certainly return whenever we visit Chennai again.
