From the moment we arrived & were greeted at the car the smiling faces of the staff were so welcoming. We were meeting friends so they made sure we were close together. Every day Agus the manager made sure everything was good for us. Breakfast was served to us by the pool everyday. Agung the supervisor & all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were meant to fly out of the 1st but due to a problem with the fuel pump in Perth we couldn’t fly out for a further 3 days. We got back from the airport & the staff didn’t want us to stress so put us in a fantastic villa. They all went above & beyond to make everything right for us. We will definitely go back to Bali & to the Lotus Tirta. It would be like coming back to family. Thank you all so much.

Small Hotel nestled in a couple alleyways beside Jalan Seminyak and Jalan Camplung Tanduk, both great shopping Restaurant and Bar areas. Also ten minutes walk from the beach.The hotel is older and had different sized rooms and villas. There is breakfast ordered from the night before and served exactly at the time requested it is delicious and will keep you going for the first part of the day. Rooms are cleaned everyday and linen changed every second day For the age of the Hotel, it is spotless and done in a manner that least inconveniences the patron. They are a quick and efficient team that will alway have time for a greeting. When you meet all the staff and experience their willingness to make your stay hassle free and smooth, and can adapt to any situation put to them, the small insignificant shortcomings of the building interior fades and you feel you are in the best place In the world and amongst a caring family. We fielded them with an issue where we had checked out and were dropped off at the airport, only to find out no flight to Perth for 3 days (fuel pump issue ) We contacted Agus (manager) to say we were stranded and could he help. He moved mountains to help us out and welcomed us home without issue. Three fantastic days later we once again said our sad goodbyes to our new family. Agus (Operations Manager) and Agung (Supervisor) have instilled a fantastic culture in their staff and they all work as a great unit. We have gone to Bali and stayed at every different type of accomodation from the Nusa Dua resorts to Poppies lane over the last 30 years and I have to say The Lotus Tirta was my favourite Stay and that is down to Agus and his team

“Good budget accommodation.”

We stayed here as a family of four, with two teenage children. The accommodation is clean but tired in areas. We stayed here as a family of four, with two teenage children. The accommodation is clean but tired in areas. We had issues with the aircon and although the staff seemed willing to fix, it wasn’t fixed so we resorted to turning it off for an hour each day which seemed to reset it. We also had plungers in the sinks sticking down, a toilet constantly running, a knife only with no other cutlery, minimal glasses and crockery in the kitchen that didn’t serve a Villa accommodating 6 people. However we made do and were happy to come back to a very nice villa pool each day that was pristine and our very own water cooler. The accommodation is within walking distance to the main Bintang supermarket and the beach but it would be tricky for families with disabilities or young children to navigate the uneven and sometimes obsolete footpaths. There are two laundries next door, a minimart and two restaurants which are very handy is such close proximity. The staff are delightful and very accommodating. Would we stay here again? Probably not. Would we recommend it? Yes for a nice budget accommodation, but don’t expect high end.

Cheap and cheerful in a good location with great air-conditioning. No elevators however so the stairs become a little annoying but there are only three floors so tolerable and the staff will take your luggage up and down. The rooms are clean but a little dated and showing some wear and tear. The pool is very small and rarely gets any sun on it which suited me but not great for anyone wanting a tan.
