We stayed in this lovely, quaint hotel for 4 nights. Lovely airy rooms with aircon. Comfortable extra king bed with clean linens. The bathroom shower was a bit strange with a slight dip in the tiling and a short shower curtain that did nothing to stop the water from cascading all over the toilet and floor. The towels provided could do with being a bit bigger too. Breakfast was served on our balcony overlooking the pool and was lovely. There are a few great restaurants close by the hotel, we didn't eat there at night as there didn't seem to be food available. The road outside was busy and undergoing lots of work and difficult to walk along due to the manic traffic!

We stayed for 4D/3N. Breakfast is included in our booking. Multiple choices of breakfast set to choose from. We also availed the floating breakfast which is a nice experience. Pool is nice, spacious and clean. We had our room on a good view at 3rd floor which has pool/river/forest view with overlooking of Ketut's Place. Staffs are nice and accomodating. We arrived afternoon and room is already available. We received welcome drinks (refreshing black tea). On our last day, we checked out at 3AM and staff accomodated/assisted us for early morning check out. They also arranged and gave us breakfast set to be brought on our ealy tour even outside the breakfast time. Truly caring gesture. We booked airport transfer with sidetrip at Seminyak Beach which is flexible upon request. Ketut's place offers tours and arrange Guests requests so be sure to check with lobby or staffs. They have restaurant for your cravings and if you wanted to try Balinese specials. They are also responsive on Whatsapp and in person. Location is near Center (700m) and also quite to take a rest. Definitely and higly recommended stay. Thank you Ketut's Place Bed and Breakfast!

Amazing expirience ! It is a great pleasure for me to have stayed for 5 nights in such an authentic Balezan accommodation. You have the impression as if you are staying in a temple and that you have a room in the temple. Majestic!! Ketut's family opens the doors of their home and hosts you, shares the same space of the property with you and you absorb their relaxed and calm energy. They are very kind and meet your requests. Within their property they have their own private temple where only family members pray. There are many very valuable and old ornaments, sculptures, statues, carvings on the property so you feel like you are in a museum. It is an unbeatable feeling if you schedule a massage with them (which is excellent) and listen to the rain falling on the leaves of the jungle that the other side of the property overlooks! And on the level below is a yoga patio that also overlooks the jungle, if you want to make an appointment. My experience of this is breathtaking.The entire building is made of 6 cascading levels on the back side and another 2 floors high on the main side. Deluxe rooms overlook the jungle and the river below and ordinary rooms, which are anything but ordinary, because they are like separate houses - temples, overlook the garden. Each room - house has its own terrace with a table and chairs in front. Breakfast, every night you choose for tomorrow and it's excellent! You also have their small restaurant for lunch and dinner if you don't want to go out. Ketut's property is on the main street, where in front you have food stores, a shop with silver jewelry, a currency exchange office and small restaurants. Just - 7 minutes walkinh- Kajeng rice field which is fantastic -5 minutes walking royal castle Puri Langon. -5 min(300 m )down the street - main Ubud square large Ubud temple , Open market place where you can get the cheapest shopping (teas and Luwak coffees). -20 min walking Monkey forest Walking is faster than Grab, because the streets are in collapse with traffic.😁 We will defenetly come back again to Ketut ' s place !

There are three Ketut’s properties in Ubud: the B&B, the Cottage, and the one in Penestanan. Since the last one isn’t listed on TripAdvisor, I’m leaving my comment here. There are three Ketut’s properties in Ubud: the B&B, the Cottage, and the one in Penestanan. Since the last one isn’t listed on TripAdvisor, I’m leaving my comment here. Hopefully, one day Penestanan will have its own page for reviews. I stayed at the Penestanan villa for two nights a few weeks ago. The villa is spacious, with a private pool and a kitchen. It faces the rice fields, offering a very peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast isn’t provided, but there are plenty of good eateries within walking distance. Cars cannot access this area directly, so you need to call the villa staff to help carry your luggage by motorbike and ride you to the villa. You can walk there yourself, but I recommend letting the staff handle the bags. During my stay, it rained almost the entire day, so I couldn’t use the pool—such a pity. Still, if I have the chance, I’d love to come back and stay for more days. The price is affordable and definitely worth the money.
