Exceptional resort. I can’t fault it. Surrounded by lush green trees, birds. This resort is out of the main Ubud town and that’s a good thing. Our villa was spacious and welcoming. The food was exceptional. Not as good value as other parts of Bali but better than resorts such as the Ayana. I can’t thank Wira and the team enough. Nothing was too much trouble. He and the wonderful team went well out of their way to ensure we had a fabulous six night stay. Fábriza gave me a lovely massage at the spa. The spa staff were so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to everyone at the resort. It was an exceptional experience.

Really lovely stay at The Westin Ubud. The room was very spacious, and the receptionist was so helpful when we asked for a room that wasn’t at the end of the building. Really lovely stay at The Westin Ubud. The room was very spacious, and the receptionist was so helpful when we asked for a room that wasn’t at the end of the building. He arranged the room change without any fuss, which we really appreciated. The swimming pool is great, with such a quiet and peaceful surrounding. Breakfast was excellent too — huge choices and something for everyone. The breakfast staff took such good care of us, and the service was outstanding. We ordered our food and it was brought straight to our table. The kids especially loved the breakfast! Overall, a great stay with excellent service. Would happily come back!

A superb hotel. Spent a week here in July 2026. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival and checked in to a standard room, more than adequate, spacious with a walk in shower and bath room. Bed was super comfy and huge! The pool area is more than adequate with sun beds available at all hours of the day. The pool has a great view over the nearby forest. Took advantage of the spa which provided excellent treatment, a little bit of extra luxury. The breakfast is very good with all you’d expect from a buffet catering to all cultural tastes. The 2 restaurants are good, although you may wish to go farther afield for some authentic Indonesian cuisine. Plenty available. The staff are super attentive, always around to serve at the pool or dining facilities. Always a sincere friendly greeting. The hotel Is about a 15 minute cheap taxi out of Ubud away from the busy areas. We also enjoyed a great Pilates session, a shame these aren’t held on a daily rather than weekly basis. Only minor read for improvement would be room balcony, ours was a little shabby and not so Inviting as it was very close to the main road. Maybe request a room facing away from the road if affected by noise. Overall we would definitely visit again and recommend to any wishing to visit Ubud

We stayed at the Westin Ubud for three nights with our 13-year-old twin daughters. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel has incredibly attentive staff, a beautiful infinity pool, excellent facilities, breathtaking views, and outstanding food. However, there were a few small issues that prevented it from being a truly exceptional experience. Front of House Our arrival was wonderful. We were welcomed with refreshing drinks, cool towels, and a beautiful traditional blessing, which made us feel instantly relaxed. As our rooms weren't quite ready, we were offered complimentary drinks in the lobby. During this time, we met Wahyu, who was genuinely warm and welcoming. He went above and beyond, taking a sincere interest in our family and making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. Rooms Unfortunately, we were allocated rooms 730 and 732, both of which overlooked the main road. They were noticeably noisy, with traffic continuing from the early hours of the morning until late at night, making it difficult to sleep. We could also hear the plumbing from the room above whenever the toilet was flushed or the shower was used. Housekeeping was generally good, and the team—particularly Jaya, Ravi, Moran, and Arjuna—left thoughtful notes and creative towel art, which our daughters loved. Food & Drinks We dined at Tall Trees on our first evening, where we were looked after by our lovely waitress, Wiana. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented, although the prices were on the higher side. Drinks were particularly expensive, with a single glass of wine costing around 225,000 IDR. Because of this, we chose to eat dinner elsewhere for the remainder of our stay and explored Ubud's fantastic restaurants instead—which turned out to be a wonderful decision. Breakfast is served at Tabia on the third floor and offers an excellent selection of both local and international dishes. The quality of the food was very good, although the coffee was fairly average. A special thank you to Surabaya, who was incredibly kind and always did his best to make our mornings enjoyable. Pool & Facilities The infinity pool is absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of the hotel. The views are breathtaking, and the addition of a hot tub jacuzzi makes it even more relaxing. We never had any trouble finding comfortable sunbeds, complimentary towels were always available, and poolside service was consistently friendly and efficient. We'd also like to give a special mention to Frasiska at the Pool Bar/Tall Trees, who was always cheerful, attentive, and a pleasure to chat with. Overall The Westin Ubud is a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff, excellent facilities, and spectacular surroundings. The warmth and hospitality shown by the team really stood out and made our stay memorable. While there are a few areas that could be improved—particularly the soundproofing of the rooms and the high cost of food and drinks—we still had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the hotel, especially to those looking for a peaceful base close to Ubud.
