Yes, all the reviews say the same things - oasis of calm, fabulous accommodation, amazing customer service (and the road being a little narrow, but that’s a minor point). Basically it’s all true. We loved our 5-day honeymoon stay in Villa 2. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and just so calming. From the airport pick up, to breakfast on the veranda, drinks by the pool and how well located it is, it really made for such a lovely, chilled stay. Breakfast might prove a little challenging if you’re vegan but based on how happy they were to accommodate my gluten free requests, I’d imagine they’d gladly rise to the occasion. Genuinely such a lovely stay - we were sad to leave.

We loved our stay at The White Villas Ubud! The restaurant was excellent! The food was simply delicious — for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The staff were incredibly welcoming, very pleasant, and helpful at all times. The gardens were beautiful, and my villa was spotless and peaceful. We were so impressed and satisfied with their “joyful breakfast”! Each day featured a different breakfast, with juices, fruits, pancakes, eggs, and much more. The location was perfect and made exploring Ubud so easy. In addition, they offer a van service, which is very convenient for visiting places that are a bit farther away. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat, attentive care, and lots of good vibes!

This is a fantastic accommodation. The property is composed of three two-story private villas each with sitting room, kitchen and sheltered terrace downstairs and a loft bedroom and ensuite bathroom all with cathedral ceiling upstairs. All furniture is comfortable and in good taste in harmonious restful colors. In addition two units have stacked single rooms with terrace (thus 4 more in total). There is a garden pavilion with some seating where food can be ordered and where complementary afternoon tea and cake are served. This adjoins the pool which is a respectably sized rectangular pool with a deep end and a good assortment of seating, all also in the best of taste. The pool has an infinity edge looking out over a wooded ravine passing by the back of the property. As the entrance is from a secondary lane leading away from Jalan Raya Ubud (the main drag of the town), and all the accommodation is well back from this, the only noise is the bucolic crowing of roosters. Everything is spotless. The staff are delightful and have a better command of English than is usual here. Breakfast and if desired lunch and dinner are delivered to one’s terrace and the food is tasty and reasonable for such luxurious surroundings. The property has its own car and driver and they will deliver you to and pick you up at various local places and/or the airport at Denpasar for set prices which are indicated on a board and leaflet. The villas are a 15 minute walk from the Royal Palace and the central craft market, 20 min from the Puri Lukisan museum and the start of one of the rice paddy walks, and about a half hour walk from the Monkey Forest or Agung Rai Museum. The lane on which the villas are located has a couple of decent and cheap restaurants on second story pavilions. There are plenty of places to rent scooters near the property but in view of the short distances to cultural sites it might not be necessary to get personal wheeled transport. Do not however bring your own car here as the lane is nominally two ways but about 8 feet wide and vehicles are best used judiciously. You can be considerate to everyone by hiring your four wheeled transit at the junction of the lane with Jalan Raya Ubud and embarking and getting out there and walking the rest. In short I think this place must be one of the nicest anywhere near the historic centre of town and you cannot go wrong by staying there.

Nice clean villa accommodation in Ubud. An easy eight minute walk to the main road Jl. Raya. It’s a handy location everything you need is within walking distance. Access by car is possible but can be difficult as the road is extremely narrow. That being said the walk from the villas to town on that narrow road showcases exactly what Bali is all about. We only had one issue in our room (Villa 3) & that was we could hear the people in the Villa above us walking around, moving chairs etc. late at night or very early in the morning. The included breakfast is simple & we would have appreciated if some protein & decent coffee was available for selection. All the staff were amazing & so friendly & very welcoming of our custom. Beautiful well maintained gardens & pool which became our private oasis for a morning or afternoon dip.
