I stayed at the Bracken Court Hotel for one night and overall found it to be a very comfortable, well-run hotel with excellent staff throughout. The bar and restaurant area has a really nice atmosphere and felt genuinely busy and popular, possibly with locals, which is always a good sign. The bar menu is appealing, with a mix of seafood, chicken and steak dishes. As a vegetarian, I noticed there is only one vegetarian option on the menu, a bean burger, but the food being served looked very good overall. The staff really stood out during my stay. Front desk staff were polite, welcoming and extremely efficient, and check-out the following morning was very fast. The bar staff were excellent, friendly and attentive, and the breakfast staff were impressively efficient. Breakfast is cooked to order and arrived very quickly. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, which included hash browns, mushrooms, beans, eggs and fried tomatoes. It was well cooked and satisfying. The cold buffet section (fruit, cereals, etc.) is quite minimal compared to some other hotels, but the freshly prepared breakfast more than made up for it. I stayed in room 410, which is set away from the elevator. Although the room faces the main road, the street itself is very quiet, so there was no issue with noise. The hotel wasn’t particularly busy during my stay, which added to the overall calm feel. The room is modern, warm and comfortable. The double bed is on the smaller side, but as I was staying alone it was perfectly adequate and comfortable. It was around 4°C outside during my stay, yet the room was very warm — in fact, I had to open the window to cool it down. The bathroom was excellent and clearly a highlight. It was spotless, very up to date and finished to a high standard. The power shower had very strong pressure, making for a genuinely great shower. The sink pressure is also strong and probably best treated with a little caution, as it can splash easily. Towels were good quality and everything felt impeccably clean. While one or two pieces of bedroom furniture could benefit from a bit of tender loving care, this is a very minor detail and doesn’t reflect the overall condition of the room. The room finish itself, along with the bathroom, is modern, fresh and in pristine condition. I was on the fourth floor. There appears to be just one elevator, but it’s very fast and I never experienced any delays. One small practical note: some areas on certain floors include short sections with a few steps. If you’re travelling with heavy luggage, it’s worth being aware of this, as I initially struggled a little with my bags. There is an underground car park that feels connected to the hotel but is actually located next door. You need to exit via the main entrance to access it. If you have luggage, I’d strongly recommend parking on the first level for easier access. Overall, a very comfortable stay with excellent staff, a great shower, and a welcoming atmosphere — I’d happily stay here again.

This is a great little hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and acknowledge previous stays. The rooms are large, warm and super clean. Wifi is fast and parking secure and free. The food in the bar is good and service fast. Breakfast is super and the breakfast team are efficient and helpful. Highly recommend. It's close to Dublin Airport and better than most Dublin airport hotels.

“Clean hotel, great staff - nothing to dislike”

Food and drink is top notch. Staff are all great, very helpful. Bedroom/bathroom clean, furniture ok but looking dated now. Bed comfortable though. Quiet bedroom. Good value. Location centre of town. Busy atmosphere in bar.

We only booked the Bracken Court as it was close to the Lark theatre. Rooms were clean and well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. We dined in the Bracken grill which was quite good and certainly as good as most hotel restaurants. Good access to Dublin city via the train station which is closeby.. Breakfast was good but bizarrely it was menu only on one morning and help yourself the second. My advice to the hotel would be to stick with the self service breakfast option as it is preferable to choose what you want rather than pick a specific breakfast option from a menu. We moticed that in the room we stayed in, the safe didn't work which wasn't a problem personally. Also there was no working ventilation in the bathroom which was quite unpleasant as the whole room was like a steamroom after a brief shower. From the appearance of the flaking ceiling paint I would say it has been like that for some time.
