This is a really nice, small hotel on a small piazza. The location is fabulous for walking and exploring the upper part of Chieti, its museums, streets, and parks. The room was large, comfortable, and very quiet at night. Andrea and his team were so helpful with recommendations and transportation. We hope to return to explore the area more.

“Home Away from Home”

This was such a cute cozy hotel and Andrea up front was always available when needed. Andrea is the best. The room was nice and clean. The food was delicious. My favorite was saffron risotto with asparagus which is probably seasonal. Highly recommend this hotel!

“Well worth the price”

Great little hotel in an excellent location. Clean, well kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We visited during the hottest time of the year so the room was a bit warm at mid day, even with the a/c turned to max cool. At night it was better of course. Great little hotel in an excellent location. Clean, well kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We visited during the hottest time of the year so the room was a bit warm at mid day, even with the a/c turned to max cool. At night it was better of course. The dining room was not offering dinner while we were there, but the staff gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant only a 5 min walk away. Most attractions are within a short walk. The continental breakfast was decent (what you would expect for a small Italian hotel). Overall, seems like the place to stay if you’re in Chieti. We recommend it.

“Excellent hospitality particularly under trying circumstances”

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful historic city. Very clean and fresh feeling. Feature is a Roman water cistern repurposed into dining space. My room had old wood beams across the ceiling, and a large window overlooking the street below. Bed, desk, and desk chair. Would have liked an easy chair… more

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful historic city. Very clean and fresh feeling. Feature is a Roman water cistern repurposed into dining space. My room had old wood beams across the ceiling, and a large window overlooking the street below. Bed, desk, and desk chair. Would have liked an easy chair in the room, and the lighting was dim for me. Very quiet at night. Our group had a Covid outbreak necessitating quarantine, and therefore all meals were served in our rooms. The hotel team could not have been more accommodating and handled the situation extremely well. The owner/chef prepared excellent country style dinners -- saffronella risotto, roast veal, gnocchi with mushrooms, etc--and the breakfast buffet (accessible before the outbreak) was generous. Housekeeping came to the door every day during the quarantine offering fresh towels, water, etc. ! English was limited --as it is in the city in general. This was not an issue for me or my group, as we are Italian students, but could be challenging if one has no Italian or is not prepared. Owner and team were also very helpful with recommendations, calling taxis, etc for the period of time when we could get out and about. I would definitely return to this hotel.
