We picked both Pineto and the Hotel Saint Tropez as holiday locations by chance, having never travelled to Italy's Adriatic coast before. Our choice couldn't have been better: great location, very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and easy access to the nearby beach. Our room was compact, simply furnished and couldn't be faulted. Towels were changed daily and breakfast was good. Breakfast, half board and full board options exist, with a daily menu offering a good range of food. The beach (very clean) is only a few minutes walk away and extends for some considrable distance, north and south, for those who want to walk on the golden sands. Dedicated sun loungers for the hotel, along with a cafe/bar, are provided for guests to use. The hotel provides free bicycles to explore the local area, which benefits from the dedicated Adriatic Coast cycle path to bordering towns (or perhaps further) and removes you from contact with vehicles. A gelateria is located at the end of the street where the hotel is located and you need to be strong willed to stop yourself being repeatedly lured by the 'siren call' of the ice-cream! Pineto itself has various eateries within 5 to 20 mins walk of the hotel, serving snacks through to meals and mainly catering for the Italian market. A supermarket and bakery are located nearby. We saw limited evidence of other UK visitors in the area, however, basic English is widely spoken. All in all, a great hotel and we hope to return in the future.

“Perfect stay for sunny holiday”

I've stayed here before, it's a perfect place for a relaxed and sunny holiday. Especially for families, since the beach is nearby. Delicious Italian (local) dishes as well! I recommend the timballo, a special kind of lasagne. Very friendly people and the hotel was nice as always!

A fantastic family friendly hotel on the adriatic coast. The combination of good accommodation and facilities, excellent staff and very reasonable rates in early July made this a fantastic experience for the 3 nights we stayed. We stumbled across this hotel on the net and booked interconnecting rooms for a family of 5 with 3 kids under 11. It was just perfect. The rooms (#15&16) were newly refurbished and spanned the side of the hotel near the pool. Both had a double bed and single bed with enough space to move around and also had the benefit of a decent sized balcony in room 15 that was perfect for having a picnic lunch (bakery and supermarket very close to hotel) and had views down to the pool. There was also a small fridge and safety deposit box as well as wi-fi which happily downloaded youtube etc on a couple of devices. The hotel is 2 blocks away from the beach section (across a road) and is really well-operated. the beach itself was fantastic and chairs etc were included in rate. it's possible to hire extra if you need. Price-wise it was very reasonable and the hotel also had the benefit of a lovely pool with a life-guard there at all times it was open. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast that continued to be stocked up even close to the end of serving time. nothing fancy, a combination of cereals, hams, cheeses and breads, but perfect for us. Seems to be a lot of full board packages, but we went for B&B only The staff were extremely helpful, in particular Yoori who handled our reservation, answered all our questions and arranged for a late check-out on th last day as we had arrived late on the first night. It was mainly Italian holiday-makers and there obviously was a lot of repeat business in what was a very friendly and relaxed environment. Overall, a really great experience and we hope to back in the future
