Staff were amazing! Def recommend this hotel! Sauna with an amazing view after ski was the best experience! There was also a pooltable so we had ganes running every night, we could watch whatever sport on the tv that was great! I would definetley come back here!

Comfortable hotel with friendly and accommodating staff, in a good location. Rooms were basic, yet provided everything we needed - hairdryer, wardrobe, TV, soap ect. Entry to room with key card, staff happily gave us 2nd room keys when multiple people were in 1 room. Ski room with boot dryers provided on ground floor, although this was down a steep slope - definitely have your morning coffee before heading up to the lifts. Comfortable beds with additional pillows and blankets provided. The rooms were hot when we checked in, however after adjusting the radiator, the rest of the week was fine! Nice balcony with well insulated shutters - when having the door open at night there was ALOT of noise, but as soon as the door was closed you couldn’t hear a thing! Nice bath and shower with plenty of hot water and towels. Our room was cleaned every day despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign being left on the door, this was slightly annoying as our stuff kept getting moved. Location was good, with it being a 5-10 minute walk to the main lift and easy access to bars and ski hire. Food. I am vegetarian with dairy intolerance so trying to eat in Europe is always a nightmare for me. I have to say, the staff were super accommodating. Food for all guests was pre ordered the night before for the following day with the choice of 2 starters (plus buffet soup and salad bar), 3 mains and 3 desserts. Each evening they provided options for me also with no meat and no dairy and they always ensured this was served directly to me. With the buffet breakfast they also provided soy milk and DF yogurts. They were very strict about you brining in any food or drink to meals but did allow me to bring my own VG cheese, ham and oat milk. The food wasn’t 5* but it was mostly enjoyed by all of our party. Some of it wasn’t necessarily to individual taste, but that’s not the hotels fault. The fish was frozen (but it does state that on the menu) which was made clear occasionally by the lack of taste. We all enjoyed the buffet breakfast and soup/salad bar at dinner. The only thing that we found odd and annoying was that we weren’t allowed to bring our own water to dinner and the hotel wouldn’t provide any free of charge. I totally accept that being a half board hotel they make their money on drinks, however, water was provided free of charge at breakfast and was quite expensive to buy at dinner - especially when you can buy a large 1.5L bottle across the road for 50c. All in all, for what we paid, this hotel was a good, budget friendly option.

“Great location and really tasty food”

Great location a few minutes' steep uphill walk from the Clotes lift. Bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Rooms are comfortable, maybe a little tired, but have everything you need. Great location a few minutes' steep uphill walk from the Clotes lift. Bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Rooms are comfortable, maybe a little tired, but have everything you need. We requested, and were given, quiet rooms, a twin and double next door to each other for us and our daughters. There are some lively bars in the area, and some friends we made during our stay heard quite a lot of "kicking out time" noise and 3am recycling happening from their rooms at the front of the hotel. The hotel bar prices are reasonable and they give complimentary snacks with drinks. There is a mini-market literally opposite for any essentials you may want. A highlight of our stay was the food. A good breakfast buffet with a few hot options, plenty of cheese, meat, pastries, fruit, etc. to set you up for the day. Hot and cold drinks machines. Dinner was 3 courses served to table, with a salad buffet you could serve yourself from as a 4th course upon arrival at dinner whilst waiting for the rest of the meal. First night's dinner was chosen upon check-in, and the rest of the week you chose dinner for the following night at dinner the night before. Pasta (meat or veggie) or soup for first course, then meat, fish or veggie 2nd course and a choice of two desserts or ice cream to finish. Drinks are not included at dinner. We were there over new year and on NYE there was a special gala buffet as the intro course, including delicious meat and seafood. Then rather than a choice for each course, you got a bit of everything! A small glass of prosecco was included to round off the meal that night. We felt that the start time of 7.30pm was a little late as we had children with us and note that children choose from the same options as adults (which suits us as we like our children to have not just the usual kids' menu options, but might not be to everyone's tastes). 7pm would be a bit better. On 30th December there was a torchlight descent and fireworks display at 9pm by the bottom of the Clotes lift, meaning we could enjoy the NYE dinner in the hotel without having to rush off. New Year's Eve itself some of the bars let off fireworks at midnight, and lots of partying going on till the small hours (we were trying to sleep for getting our children up for ski school in the morning so couldn't partake!) . Being early in the season, the snow was a bit thin on the ground, so only about a third of the runs were open, but we were glad we still went rather than taking the Crystal snow promise, as there was enough to keep us occupied for the week. Recommendations in the area: We really enjoyed the hot chocolates at Scacco Matto Bar near the bottom of the Clotes lift. Orso Bianco by the ski school meeting point gets busy at lunchtime but rightly so as the food is reasonably priced and satisfying for a slope-side lunch. Take a wander out in the village, as there are some quaint little narrow streets and shops. There is ice skating in the park although we decided not to do it in the end, but it seemed popular and was 8 euro per person for 30 mins, or an extra euro for an extra 15 mins. We really enjoyed our holiday in Sauze and the Debili was great. Shout out to our main waiter Amin, who was so friendly and there literally every breakfast and dinner. But we found all of the staff to be welcoming and hospitable. We would definitely return to Sauze, hopefully when more runs are open, and would stay at the Debili again.

Friendly hotel, great location next to the Clotes uplift. Close to town for a stroll / apres-ski with a convenient small supermarket opposite. Very clean, very accommodating, great staff, nice rooms with en-suite. Lift, boot / ski room, sauna. WiFi not the best but what do you need that for when on holiday? Food ok - fantastic buffet starter - 4 course dinner with tasty pasta dish followed by fish or meat (not always to our groups’ taste) then delicious desert. Never went hungry! Went out of their way to cater for Gluten Free - best accommodation of dietary requirements I’ve ever experienced in the Alps. Great value for money and highly recommend.
