We visited for 4nts, as a family of 4. Communication with the hotel was excellent. They arranged taxi transfers from Milan, and provided restaurant recommendations as requested. We had 2 Deluxe rooms - each had a nice sitting area, and were a good size with plenty of storage. Breakfast was great - had everything you could want and eggs were cooked fresh to order. Meals and snacks in the bar were wonderful. Shuttle to ski lift (a 1 minute drive) was always available for drop off and collection. We used the pool, which was very quiet and well kept. This is an extremely well run hotel. Thoughtful, caring, welcoming staff in every single department. The waiters remember your preferred drinks at breakfast, the housekeeping staff have very high standards, the shuttle drivers were always available and helpful, reception staff were welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable, spa staff were great too. Very few hotels have such great staff in literally every department. This hotel is faultless. Highly recommended - we will be returning!

Simone, Luca, Michaela, Thomas, Corrado and so many other wonderful members of the Hermitage team go above and beyond to care for us—always anticipating our needs before we’ve even thought of them. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness never cease to amaze us. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels so personal, so effortless, and so full of heart. Traveling with a large family isn’t always easy, but at the Hermitage, we’re always made to feel comfortable, cared for, and completely at peace. “Superb service”

Short 4 night stay on a skiing trip with my son The service at the hotel is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. In advance to make the reservation, sort transfers and suggest ski schools etc. During the stay also very helpful Food was fine and they catered very well for my son who is coeliac. Breakfast selection overall is a bit limited…a couple of cereals, bread/croissants and cold cuts and an egg station. We ate a couple of times in the main restaurant where the grilled selections are recommended and better than the menu dishes. Octopus, lamb and stuffed quail all amazing. And gluten free tiramisu which is a rarity and which my son could not get enough of! Bar food was very good - superb burger and club sandwich. The nibbles with the drinks also excellent Rooms are OK. We had booked a junior suite which was quite small in reality - has a sofa area…which i have experienced in many deluxe level rooms. We upgraded to a higher level suite and again this was not that large and quite dark. Disappointingly no views of the Matterhorn which i would have expected for the price . Room also noisy as beside the road and the walls very thin with the bed located next to the bathroom in adjoining room i could very clearly hear the guest when urinating. Pretty grim. We didnt use the pool or spa. The gym is small but ok. Has a few cardio machines but the free weights are too light to be of any use (only 10kg max) What is also great is the help with skiing. You can buy ski pass at hotel and and they can print your ski passes. There is also a shuttle to take to the lifts or into town in evening. For collection just call hotel and they come immediately. Extremely helpful Definitely recommend - though would think about room selection next time.
