“Absolutely fantastic”

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It has everything. Great staff, great food, fantastic rooms (mine even had a bath), and easy access to the pistes. 11/10.

Our stay at Ellex Eco Hotel in Gressoney was absolutely outstanding! The hotel combines eco-consciousness with charm and comfort. The rooms were beautifully designed, with natural materials and cozy touches that made us feel instantly at home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to sustainability was evident throughout the property. The location is perfect, nestled in the quiet and picturesque village of Gressoney, with easy access to the ski slopes and hiking trails. The views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of fresh, local products that set us up perfectly for a day outdoors. The hotel’s spa was another highlight, offering a serene place to unwind after a day of adventure. Ellex Eco Hotel truly exceeded our expectations, offering the perfect mix of sustainability, comfort, and excellent service. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Gressoney area!

“Great ski in/ski out hotel, with lovely staff, food and a perfect location”

I stayed here as a solo traveller/skier with Crystal Ski Holidays in early March and had a really great week. The hotel was for me the perfect size, not too small, not too big. The team in reception and the restaurant were all lovely and as ever grateful for their well spoken English. My room was lovely, comfy double bed, plenty of storage for one (and two if needed), all super clean and decent sized bathroom. A bit tight for space in then shower, but water was hot and the room was heated. My only gripe was I think room 104 is the only room without a proper terrace, balcony and therefore view, which I really missed as the weather and views were great. There is a lovely terrace at the front of the hotel, so I was grateful for that. The food was very good. 4 courses and only one dinner out of the 7 I had there was below a 9 or 10/10. And of course the wine is a lovely addition, and not expensive. Breakfasts were perfect for me, with a selection of cold foods and eggs and bacon. And endless coffee! There’s a good ski room and you can ski and ski out, snow permitting. The entrance is at the bottom of a black run, which is not a challenging black, so not an issue at any time of the day. It’s a great position for the area as it sits in the middle of the two main ski areas. The hotel is though a short but very steep walk up from the main road. I was dropped off with cases and ski bags by Crystal (rather annoying) and had to then take them up in icy/snowy conditions. I was saved by the hotel manager who happened to be walking by and literally picked it all up and carried it to reception. Thank you to him! All in all, a hotel I would definitely go back to and a ski resort I really enjoyed too

We have chosen this hotel as we like small and cozy places. Especially when they follow climate friendly philosophy. The hotel is located in Tschaval, small town, which is part of the big Monterosa Ski area. Clean rooms, good service and very good breakfasts. Sleeping conditions were absolutely great. Silence and peace by the fire places downstairs in the lobby, that`s all you need after perfect day of skiing. Be careful, the hotel does not offer dinners , only breakfasts BUT there are a couple of good restaurants and you can also eat in shelters up in the mountains while skiing.
