“Generous, warm and welcoming.”
Best sleep of my 3 weeks in Italia!! La colazione was sumptuous with plentiful fresh food typical of the region. Staff Sara and Davide were quick to help and respond to any requests or needs. Four of us had a truly fabulous stay.

“Le Malve Cave Retreat, a wonderful place to stay to enjoy your experience in Matera”

“A gem in the Sassi”
Wonderful location in the Sassi. Parking and shuttle to the location make getting there easy. Rooms are lovely and the staff incredibly helpful - kudos to Sara and Davide. Lovely breakfast in the morning is a perfect way to start a day of exploring this incredible city.

“This is the place to stay”
What an absolutely wonderful experience we had, great hosts and fantastic place. Breakfast was best we had during our two weeks road trip, and the tips from the team for sightseeing and dinner were spot on.
