“Fabulous stay at the Caveoso Hotel”
What an amazing and unique experience! Authentic cave-turned-hotel room. Beautifully laid out. Natural light from a window by the front door and lovely lighting set up. “If you want to sleep in a magical place”
An incredible experience sleeping in such an ancient and timeless location. It's not just about the quality and beauty of the place. It feels like you’ve jumped back in time. Matera is truly a magical place. This hotel, in particular, is perfect; it has every comfort. We found it beautiful.

“Great if a bit basic”
We very much enjoyed our stay here. We had a proper cave room which was great. The location is very good at the bottom of Via Bruno Buozzi, one of the main streets in the Sassi with a good choice of restaurants.
