So,this property is very near to Piazza municipio and was easy located on Via San Giacomo. There was a pleasant man at the reception and he gave us a nice place to keep our luggage as we were a bit early than the usual check in time. The road, at which this B&B/Hotel is situated, is full of hustle and bustle. Via Toledo -the main shopping area is very near along with many restaurants/pizzerias which offer quality food at a decent price. The building in which this hotel/B&B is, is quite safe and secure and can only be opened by the residents in the night.The room was cosy, neat and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious for two people. Room had a cupboard with mirror, minibar, Flat screen TV and a cute balcony with table-chairs. It was totally sound proof so even if, it was a weekend there was no noise coming inside the room from the street. Overall, it was a very nice experience and would like to recommend and stay here again.

The "hotel" or "B &B" (but without breakfast) ist located on the second floor of an office building close to the metro station "Municipio". From morning to evening there´s a receptionist who controls access to the building; after 7 p.m. you need one of the 4 keys you get to enter the building. In the surrounding streets there are lots of restaurants and also two supermarkets (Conad, Carrefour Express). The size of my double room (No. 6) was adequate, the bathroom was quite spacious. The room was clean and offered all I needed, minibar, a big flatscreen TV (even a selection of DVDs, didn´t use them though), airconditioning and free Wifi (good quality). Though the location of the building was central and quite good, I wouldn´t recommend running around alone at night in Napoli: I wouldn´t consider this safe (most areas)! Should I visit Napoli/Naples again I will surely book Domus Municipio again.

We stayed in this hotel for our last 2 nights in Naples and I must admit it was a nice hotel. Check in was good, and the young man on reception was very helpful. The rooms are nicely done and the view is interesting to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by. Bed was comfortable and the blinds allow you to keep the room dark even with the Italian sun. The down side.......very few negatives really. However we did put our scooter in the garage overnight as suggested by the hotel, but was not informed that this would cost us 10euro per night until we came to check out. Additionally to this we asked for a taxi to the airport, and booked it for 9am, however later in the conversation we changed this to 10am, but this seemed to get lost in translation, which is fine. So taxi driver walked round from rank at 8.50 (less than 1 minute walk away), I explained that this was too early and tried to offer a couple of euros in recompence. The taxi driver himself wouldn't speak to me and didn't want to engage in conversation. We went upstairs to pack quickly, and came down at 9.10 much rushed. We met the hotel receptionist in the lobby who informed us that the taxi driver would not wait and had gone. We decided to get another one at 10am. On coming down to check out, the receptionist informed us that he had given the taxi driver 5 euros and we were expected to pay this. I feel this is very excessive, especially as the taxi driver would not speak to me or even try to engage, and secondly that this compensation sum was not run by us. This massively tool the shine off our stay at this hotel. Our second taxi driver was very polite and curtious. In short.....i would stay in this hotel again as it's proximity to the centre is great, but watch out for the hidden extras as you start to feel a bit cheated.

This small 'hotel' is exactly what you need to explore Napoli if you are not looking for a luxury hotel. It is well located close to the Via Toledo so you can do most of the trips by foot, the rooms are nice and clean. You can take an Italian breakfast just around the corner. The price for the rooms is very reasonable. Do not expect a fancy lobby and do accept the shower not to be constant hot but these are minor remarks.
