We stayed at this hotel during the European claytarget shooting championships. The hotel itself is easy to find, right on the Via Appia outside Caserta. Rooms are comfortable with a minibar and TV ( the standard 2 English speaking channels, BBC world and CBS news). Prices inside the hotel are 4 star prices, as you would expect (a small beer €2, large €5, but there are numerous local roadside bars nearby that offer the same at a quarter of the price. Staff are attentive, but the dining area is surprisingly compact for such a large hotel. For tourists however, the best news is that it stands across the road from Casertas newest shopping precinct/mall, containing cafes, bars, shops and a large supermarket that sells everything. We found wine there that we had bought in England, where we paid over £7 a bottle - here the same wine was €3! Be aware that when you are looking for a place to stay, an Italian 3 star hotel is a little more basic than an American or English hotel holding the same star rating, however this is a genuine 4 star establishment, and is perfect if you are heading south and need a stopover.

“Good place”

Our room was very large and comfortable. There is an outside area which seems not be used at all but that is very nice. We did not pay much money so it was very convenient given the quality of the place. My feeling is that in the past this has been a very good place.

We chose this hotel because of location, as we wanted to explore Caserta, Pompei and Teano which is a "roots" location for us. The hotel itself was a little out of the way, but easily found off A1. It is a very nice hotel, clean, roomy rooms, and we had a huge terrace. The desk staff is very helpful and speaks English very well. We had a slight problem with the shower, which they fixed immediately. Bed was comfortable, no noise, WIFI in lobby, and a restaurant on the premises. The breakfast is marginal, though the coffee is great. The dining room has lunch and dinner (same menu which changes each day), and the quality is unexceptional. But it is in a great location for touring, clean, friendly, and there are local restaurants within a couple of miles. We'd stay there again.

“Good Hotel - But nothing Exceptional”

I stayed at this hotel on business and found it just about an average european hotel. My room was ok but only had, besides the bed, one desk chair to sit on. I stayed at this hotel on business and found it just about an average european hotel. My room was ok but only had, besides the bed, one desk chair to sit on. Beds were hard and pillows, well lets just say thin. No internet access in your room so you had to continuously go to the lobby if you wanted to check email. Food was basic, nothing special. I guess I expected moe traditional food especially being in Italy. Restaurant staff was friendly but again they didn't go out of their way especially since I do not speak italian. Laundry service is not the best. It took 3 days to get my clothes laundered. All in all a good trip and not a bad hotel for a short stay but again there wasn't very much to choose from in that area.
