I consider this more of a boutique hotel, situated in the beautiful town of Ferrari, and across the street from the iconic Ferrari Factory. We specifically booked the junior suite, so I get a fabulous view of the big yellow Ferrari sign when looking out the window from our room and the living area. The junior suite is in a separate building from the main one, where the check-in desk and breakfast are. The room was spacious, designed more like a studio to maximise space, with a great area by the door for storage. This hotel doesn't offer housekeeping; instead, you go to the main building for amenities like additional toiletries and towels. We stayed for 2 nights, and our room was clean and comfortable. The main lobby was decorated with pictures and posters of all things Ferrari, and the breakfast area was divided into two areas: indoor and outdoor. Outdoor was definitely our preferred choice on a nice day. They offered standard buffet food, nothing fancy, just enough to get you going. We enjoyed our stay here very much, and for the mid-range price, it was definitely a hit. I recommend this place to everyone visiting Maranello, and I will for sure return to this hotel on my next trip to this town.

“Comfortable stay in Maranello”

We spent 3 nights at Maranello palace. Check in was swift and efficient and as we were in the annex we didn’t see any other staff until we checked out. The room we had was nice and spacious. We spent 3 nights at Maranello palace. Check in was swift and efficient and as we were in the annex we didn’t see any other staff until we checked out. The room we had was nice and spacious. We had a washing machine and tumble dryer which came in handy as we were on a road trip with a limited wardrobe! We had a kitchenette with a fridge. There were no plates, cutlery or pans supplied for the kitchen and also there was no water to the sink so apart from the fridge it was pretty useless. Location was great only a short way from the main attractions in Maranello. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we found the menu quite limited. All in all the stay was comfortable and we all had a good sleep. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Room was on the nicer side, about average if you are used to American hotels like Marriott or Hilton. Agree with StanAman on the hit or miss with the front desk staff and breakfast staff. Food selection for breakfast was good, staff was in the back room most of the time we were there, so took a little while to order coffee, however, it was delivered promptly once ordered. The lounge area did have several coffee machines for use at anytime. The bar/resturant wasn't available until 5pm daily. Cannot speak to that service as we didn't utilize it during our stay. One thing that very much stood out to us was the sign in the room that essentially said if we dared to eat or drink anything from outside the hotel (including any food delivery) there would be a monitary penalty. With such limited options at the resturant as well as their hours, this came across as unnecessarily unwelcoming. Additionally, whomever designed the bathrooms should be sentanced to a life with that as their only option. Fairly typical barndoor entrance that was mostly blocked by the sink. One could only enter the WC at an angle due to the bidet located directly across from the sink. To get a better idea, one could not wheel a standard carry-on suitcase width wise through the entrance. The shower door couldn't be opened fully as the toilet was in the way, so the corner opened making it less necessary to enter the shower at an angle like entering the bathroom itself. The rainhead shower faucet took up almost the entire show, necessitating the use of the handheld shower head to bathe if you don't enjoy standing in a downpour with nowhere to move your head during your shower. All in all, it's fine for a night, clean hotel to sleep in. Just don't expect any character, welcoming atmosphere and a less than enjoyable bathing experience. Very much NOT a 4-star property.
