“Superb location, great rooms and attentive staff”

The hotel is just across the road from Santa Maria Novella rail station so if, like us you got the train from the airport, you only have a very short walk to the hotel. When we checked in the receptionist told us that she had given us really nice rooms. They were actually beyond our expectations. We had booked two rooms. One for us and the other for our friends. They were on the top floor, next door to each other, and the view was incredible. Most people go to Florence for the Duomo, and there it was. That and the beautiful hills that surround Florence. What could be better? Thank you so much for that. It was really appreciated. In each room was a note from the hotel and some biscuits as a welcome to Florence. We thought this was a really nice touch. The location couldn't be better. We easily walked to the Duomo and to both the Accademia and Uffizi galleries. There is also a bus that you can catch just around the corner that will take you there for a small charge. We paid 0.09€ on the day that we did use it. The hotel bar is excellent. The negronis are the best and the prices are really fair. Ahmed, the hotel barman, not only made us feel very welcome, he also gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat, and even called them to book our table. The restaurants he recommended were superb. Not just the food, but the service and prices. Absolutely no complaints. We did have the breakfast buffet at the hotel. We thought that it would have just been a continental breakfast, but there were bacon and scrabbled scrambled eggs, too. We really enjoyed it. The day before we left, we returned to our rooms to find a little parting gift from the hotel. Again, it was a really nice touch and much appreciated Throughout our stay, we noticed people dragging suitcases around, as you see in all tourist driven cities. On the day we left it was so nice to just take our bags across the street to the rail station and then onto the train back to the airport.

“Wonderful stay”

Very courteous and informative. I would stay here. Centrally located. We had a wonderful stay. Our requirements were fulfilled. Happy to have visited .looking forward to visiting again and would recommend.

An overnight stay here for a quick trip around Florence. The hotel is conveniently located right outside the train station. For tourists, this is very ideal. Hence, we just waked roughly 5-10 mins from station to the property. We had a smooth check in with a friendly and accommodating staff. However, I could not say the same once we checked out. The staff, after noticing that we have a handful of luggages to leave behind before our train ride, seems to be not as welcoming as compared when we were yet to stay in the hotel. That's pretty unusual. Quite a busy hotel because tourists and business clients are booking in this property. It is a come and go vibe. Thin walls, hence, can hear the sound from the hallway as well as water splashing either in the upper or lower floor. Reasons why we love though: 1. Spacious and comfortable waiting lobby area 2. Generous offer of free complimentary water, tea and coffee at the lobby 3. Very close to station Rate; 8 out of 10 Will recommend for location

A good hotel to stay right next to train station. Convenient for local tram, bus and train to pisa. Stone throw away from the station and walkable to Florence attractions within 10-30 mins walk. The area around is shady late in the evening. I suppose it’s bcos of the station nearby. But as such the hotel inside is safe and front desk people did help us storing the bags before check-in and after check-out safely. Kudos to their service very helpful in providing information to go around. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. We stayed in the triple bedroom. Was well maintained, neat and clean. Bathroom needs some maintenance, there are molds/black spots around the tiles in shower area and shows aging. For sure the bathroom was spacious for European standards, for the fact bigger than among the hotels stayed in Italy. Again if you are a tourist for day or 2 in Florence and want to avoid carrying big bags between hotel and station during your trip prefer this hotel.
