Silvio was such a nice host, he immediately made us feel at home and gave us a map and short description where to go and what to see which was a really nice gesture. The hotel is a converted apartment, and was spotless in terms of cleanliness . Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities you would expect from a hotel, if not more. Breakfast was nice but small (just what you would expect from small hotels in Italy), but for the great price we paid, we would have been just as satisfied with our stay even without breakfast. The only problem (if you could even call it a problem in our case) was that sound insulation was not so great and we could occasionally hear noises from other rooms, but this only happened a couple of times since we were lucky enough that all the guest seemed very civilized during our stay. I cannot recommend Buonarrotti suite enough to anyone who would like to have a nice and comfortable stay in Rome. We cannot thank Silvio and his team enough!

It was good, very clean and the owners were lovely and helpful. There was a little dog named pipa who was very cute and people friendly. My only complaint was the beds were very hard so if you don't like a hard bed I wouldn't stay, they were very helpful when asked if they had a mattress topper and gave a solution. It's only a 10 min walk away from roma termini and also close to the colosseum and a short train ride away from other stuff. Breakfast was included, it was basic with bread and some spreads and a fresh pastry, there were juices and coffee available aswell.

“Value for money”

Very good choice, honest proposal, convenient spot, clean room, kind staff. They accepted us before the arrival time, the amenities were renewed everyday. Things that can improve: the elementary breakfast and I'd prefer a softer mattress. Vfm!

For the price, this was a good place to stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed considering we were just using it as a base whilst we went sightseeing, and it was a good location for us as it was less than 10 min walk to the termini train station. It took us about 15-20 mins to walk to the colosseum and/or the Trevi fountain. Generally it was quite small, and breakfast was served in the reception area which was a very small space. The breakfast on offer was limited to a pastry and a coffee and I’d hoped for some fresh fruit to eat, but nevertheless, it was sufficient and again good for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a nice stay.
