I discovered the NH Collection Hotel in Rome following a Google search of quality hotels in Rome. I’m a solo traveller for business purposes and it’s important that the reception, sense of safety, cleanliness and quality of the Hotel are of an exceptional standard. The NH Collection ticked all the boxes for me! Staff were very attentive, the rooms stylish and clean and personalised handwritten note of welcome in the room on arrival and a farewell note the night before departure with a signature gift! A really nice touch. The food was also on point with traditional Italian cuisine prepared to the highest standard! I must also mention the concierge who went the extra mile!! Thank you NH Collection for making my stay so special!!

“Great location and service but pricey.”

Excellent location-we were able to walk everywhere including Vatican city and Trastevere. Rooms were very well appointed (though towels were a bit thin) but small. City rules prohibited air conditioning access so room was uncomfortably warm—unexpected at this price point. Fan helped somewhat. B… more

Excellent location-we were able to walk everywhere including Vatican city and Trastevere. Rooms were very well appointed (though towels were a bit thin) but small. City rules prohibited air conditioning access so room was uncomfortably warm—unexpected at this price point. Fan helped somewhat. Breakfast overpriced. Laundry service was efficient. Not sure I would stay here again as I feel there are better values to be found but it was a pleasant stay.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Rome. Would stay here again. The team were really friendly kind and helpful. The room was good; small like most city hotels but bed was fine. Nice tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom was very nice but as I often find, not enough space on the shelving around the sink for make up and toiletries. There was a mirror in the room, but full length, with no surfaces around so no good for makeup or skincare. To be honest I would have preferred the TV over the side table to have been a mirror as this would've been more use for me personally. We had one incident in the rooftop bar that was disappointing: they have a very nice rooftop bar that has become a bit of a trendy spot with instagram etc and at times was very busy. We had our breakfast here which was lovely, they often have evening meals here but we missed out due to the weather (the restaurant downstairs was not as nice a setting and was a bit underpriced, but ok). Our last night in Rome was a Saturday and we went upstairs for a last drink in the sunset before dinner, staff were busy so we sat at an empty table, as we had done several times before. The waiter asked us what we were doing there and was very rude saying they had reserved that table. There was no sign. They did find us another table outside, which was fine, but they should have greeted us on arrival and told us the table was reserved and he could have been polite instead of aggressive. It didn't quite ruin our stay, but was disappointing after everyone else had been so nice, even organising a 'breakfast to go' for us on the day we had to leave early on a trip.
