“Perfect Location”

The location was incredibly convenient, and we got a great deal on Hotwire. In light of that, we did not mind climbing the nine flights of stairs up to our room because there was no elevator. The location was incredibly convenient, and we got a great deal on Hotwire. In light of that, we did not mind climbing the nine flights of stairs up to our room because there was no elevator. We thought of it as a great way to burn off the pasta we ate earlier. We also did not mind how hard it was to find. We thought of it as a scavenger hunt with a warm bed as the grand prize. Overall, it was centrally located, the room was super cute (in a kitschy sort of way) and we got the Hermione room which as Harry Potter fans, made us squeal with delight.

It's located on via del corso -one of the most happening streets of Rome very close to Spanish steps. All the sites are within walking distance. We got the hermione room which had 2 double beds and could have easily accomodated a family of 4. The only flipside of this hotel is the lack of elevator… more

It's located on via del corso -one of the most happening streets of Rome very close to Spanish steps. All the sites are within walking distance. We got the hermione room which had 2 double beds and could have easily accomodated a family of 4. The only flipside of this hotel is the lack of elevator forcing us to climb 5 flight of stairs.

We booked the hotel as we want to experience apartment type accommodation. Before arriving to Rome, you need to call them so they know your arrival time as there is no reception. We booked the hotel as we want to experience apartment type accommodation. Before arriving to Rome, you need to call them so they know your arrival time as there is no reception. When we arrived, we called again the person in-charge thru the intercom at the door. We waited for 15 mins and we got the keys. Everything was okay, they gave us the Hermione room which has 2 big beds. We thought that is was just normal apartment but everyday they also clean our room which is a plus. Thank you for your good service.

“Good location, but those stairs, those stairs!”

Nicely decorated double room (smaller than expected) complete with adjoining balcony/terrace, perfect for those balmy Roman days, a morning coffee or a nightcap. Location of the hotel was excellent - right by Piazza del Popolo giving easy access to Rome's metro network. Location is good enough to allow easy walking access to major sights such as Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps and Borghese Gallery. What isn't so ideal, however is getting to your room - all rooms occupy higher floors of the building the hotel is housed in and accessing them sadly becomes a drag. In Rome you will do a lot of walking, standing queueing etc... particularly in high season and after a hectic day seeing the sights of the Eternal City, the thought of having to climb up to your room can seem daunting to say the least. In fairness to the hotel, the lack of a lift is well documented but having to ascend so many steps grows wearisome. So the requires careful consideration, however must be balanced against the many positives the hotel provides. The rooms are well appointed, and air conditioned complete with great coffee making facilities which were regularly restocked. Our room was en-suite, impeccably cleaned every day and featured little touches like a fridge and excellent wi-fi access for convenience. So in conclusion nice hotel with many positives but those stairs aren't suitable for every traveller.
