We stayed in one of the temple-facing rooms and really enjoyed it. The temple area doubles as a cat sanctuary (Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary) and we enjoyed watching the kitties wander around the ruins. It's a very small place, only a handful of rooms, and quite cozy. Breakfast is no-frills but good, and I appreciated that they kept a fridge stocked with water bottles we could grab any time. There was a little bit of noise from the elevator/stairwell, but nothing keeping the fan running overnight couldn't offset, and the windows were solid and kept out any street noise. The location was good -- easy walking distance to some of the major sights, and well-served by buses and the tram.

Temple View is centrally located. it is literally on the Largo di Torre Argentina. I stayed at this property for 10 nights in late March 2025.. The view out of my window was facing the Largo di Torre. The hotel is next to a taxi stand, bus stops, and bike/scooter sharing services (i.e., Dott and LIME). This property is NOT near a metro stop. I found some great places to eat around the Largo di Torre Argentina such as Enoteca Corsi, Grano Trattoria, Pizza Florida, and Come 'na Vorta (which has multiple locations surrounding Largo di Torre Argentina - Try their steak and potatoes). There is a pharmacy and grocery store mere steps away from the hotel. The entrance of the hotel can be difficult to find as the sign is small. It is located behind the building. Once checked in you will receive 3 keys: one for the building door, one for the door for the floor, and one for your room. There is an elevator in the building. Rooms can face the back alley or towards the ruins. You can hear guests in other rooms occasionally. Rooms are located only on Floors 1 and 4 (USA Floors 2 and 5). My room, facing the ruins, had plenty of natural light and two large windows. This caused the room to be noisy when the windows were open, but I like being in a busy area like that. The two large windows made privacy an issue. You had to remember to close the windows when you went to the bathroom. People can see you changing or sitting on the toilet. For me, I did not mind it as I loved the view. The room was clean. A hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available for use. There is also a room-only heater/air conditioner. The pillows were a little flat and provided poor neck support, but they were adequate. The bed felt like it was made of memory foam; it was comfortable enough. There was a dresser within the room that functioned as a desk while I was there. There were two end tables next to the bed that were helpful for my phone. Two lamps were provided and a switch to the main room light was next to the bed, a helpful feature. The shower pressure was strong and relaxing. The water was more than hot enough. The shower contained a rain shower head, a shower arm, and body jets. The size of the bathroom was adequate for this 6'3, 260 lb guy. The TV was excellent as it allowed you to enter your subscription information for many streaming services such as Prime, Disney, Netflix, and YouTube. Now, the hotel also provides free bottled water (both flat and carbonated) in the refrigerator that you have 24-hour access to. It also contains yogurt, milk, cold cuts, and cheese for charcuterie. They provided crackers, coffee, tea, pastries, and some fresh fruit. Grabbing a cold bottle water before heading out into the city was such a benefit! The staff are attentive to your needs and address your concerns right away. I requested the Lilac Room but was initially given another room. When I repeated the request, the front desk clerk, Roton apologized but promised the issue would be resolved the next day. It was. Roton moved all my things from the old room to the Lilac Room. I came back from a tour with everything settled. Now, when you check in, a request to pay the city tax (5 euro per night, per person) will be made. Please note that this must be paid in bills. So have your euros ready upon arrival. Checkout was seamless as I just left my keys behind and sent a text to Roton at the airport. It should be noted that this is more of a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. The staff are in the hotel from like 1000 to 1600. The times are not super consistent, but the truth is they really aren't needed. If you are looking for a true hotel experience with room service and a spa, then this is NOT the place for you. If you want a hotel that is centrally located at a good price, this is the place for you! Thank you, Roton! I appreciate your hospitality.

If you are looking for a clean accommodation, perfectly located with friendly staff, then you are at a right place. Starting from the beginning, we had a lovely host Mr. Roton, who always had a smile on his face and was ready to answer any questions me and my husband had. Next, we stayed in Lilla room which is the one with 2 double windows facing the excavations and the street. I absolutely adored how much light we had in the room and how clean it was. Also, the bed and pillow firmness was perfect. We were provided with new towels every day and our room was being made daily. The shared kitchen was 24/7 accessible, so we always had a possibility to take bottled water from a fridge. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was based on self-service and consisted out of the food you could find in the fridge/on the counters: coffee, biscuits, fruits, deli meats, cheese, Nutella, marmalade, butter, sparkling and still water, fruit yogurt, milk, sliced bread. Many lovely sightseeings are just walking distance from the accommodation, so we enjoyed our walks to Piazza Navona, Spanish steps, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Via del Corso, Vatican, Colosseum. All in all, I would definitely stay again at the Temple View on my future trip to Rome and will highly recommend it to anyone!

The hotel is in an ideal location, right in the historic centre; just 7 minutes’ walk from the Pantheon and just a few minutes further to the Trevi Fountain or Roman Forum. The room is spacious with a large and comfortable bed with a great view of the historic temple. The bathroom is large and smart with a great shower. However, the breakfast really lets it down and nowhere near the “Delicious Breakfast” described. There is a small kitchen with only one table – for just two people. You can make your own coffee and another guest showed us where to find the salami, pre-sliced processed cheese and long-life sliced bread. The only cereal is bran flakes and in May, the “seasonal fruit” means apples. The “freshly baked croissants” are a lie but there are some supermarket-bought cakes. The only good thing is that you can help yourself at any time, useful if you want to make an early start. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.
