Modern comfortable clean room with all the facilities we needed , I requested a kettle and extra pillows before arriving and was delighted to find them already in place in the room . Stayed in a superior room with a terrace with a friend - please note the twin beds are immediately adjacent with no gap to separate so you are sleeping very close together which may be an issue for some sharers . Given a token for a welcome drink both on arrival and on the day we left to enjoy while we were having some time but the pool which was a nice touch. Terrace was lovely to sit out on in the morning and gave us more living space . The pool was not heated and chilly when you first got in but you quickly acclimatised . There are sun loungers by the pool for enjoying the sun until the afternoon when it is shaded . Breakfast was OK but the same everyday - would have been nice to have optional breakfast extras like an omelette cooked or more fresh fruit such as melon or grapefruit The hotel is situated one metro stop from the main termini for Rome city which was not an issue as we wanted somewhere with more outside space . The metro station is a 5 min walk from the hotel or you can catch a bus nearby

We stayed here in early April for four nights having found online. We were searching for a value hotel with a functional pool for the kids which is something of a rarity in Rome in April as most only open the pool from May. The group review was mixed. We found the rooms and pool area to be sufficiently sized and fitted out. Breakfast each morning in the Hotel was as you would expect. A variety of hot & cold foods with the usual fruit/juices etc. The waiting staff were incredibly helpful and exceptional with the 2 Children. The hotel itself is situated well in the city and if you are able most amenities and within a nice walking distance. We found some very good restaurants/ cafe bars within close proximity. The only real negative is The bar/lounge area. BEAUTIFUL room with a piano player each evening but very uninviting. It would not be a place you could relax after a day sightseeing. It always felt empty/cold. With a bit of imagination it could be a fantastic space within the hotel. The 2 piano players that entertained during our stay were fantastic..

I stayed at this hotel for three nights while attending a conference, and overall, the experience was mediocre and quite inconvenient. The room itself was average, but the bathroom facilities were particularly disappointing. The shower did not function properly, forcing me to rely on the overhead rain shower, which only directed water to one side. The sink tap was like a mini shower, had excessively high pressure, making it difficult to control and causing water to splash everywhere. Additionally, the bidet was practically unusable due to extremely low water pressure. Breakfast options were very limited and repetitive, with almost no suitable choices for vegetarians apart from eggs and bread. Another inconvenience was the lack of basic in-room amenities such as a kettle or tea and coffee facilities. The hotel only had two kettles available upon request, and I had to contact reception several times, before finally getting one on my second day, thanks to a helpful member of staff. Service at reception was inconsistent. While one staff member was very kind and helpful, several others appeared untrained, rushed, and at times unwelcoming - particularly one male receptionist. Arranging a taxi from the hotel was also disappointing. I was quoted €65 (cash) or €70 (if card) plus additional charges per bag for a taxi to the airport. Using Uber instead cost only €55, making it a far more reasonable option. The conference facilities were another drawback. The main conference hall is located in the basement with no natural light, which made it difficult to spend long working hours there. However, the ballroom and café areas were spacious, bright, and pleasant. The waiting staff in these areas were friendly and accommodating. Overall, my stay was underwhelming. If it were not for the conference, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. .

We recently stayed for two nights at The Building Hotel. The hotel is in a convenient location, fairly close to the train station, which made arrival and departure easy. Our room was clean, well-presented, and a good size, with a small fridge and minibar. However, the beds were incredibly hard, which made the first night quite uncomfortable. To their credit, after we raised this with reception, staff provided a mattress topper for the second night, which did help improve the situation. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it advertised having a gym and spa. It gave the impression that these facilities were included in the stay. However, upon arrival we were informed that while the gym was included, use of the jacuzzi and sauna cost an additional €25 per person for two hours. This was very disappointing, as clearer information beforehand would likely have influenced our decision — we may have chosen a different hotel closer to the main attractions instead. Breakfast was included and served buffet-style. There was a good selection, and we found it very enjoyable. However, we would not recommend staying for dinner. The evening meal was quite poor in quality, and the service was disappointing. Our waiter was unfriendly, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, we feel there are better-value options available closer to the main sights of Rome.

I was quite disappointed on arrival as the hotel advertised the pool as if it was part of the hotel and it was free to use for guests but upon arrival we were informed that it was €25 per day to use per person which I personally think is absolutely unacceptable. The gym facility is not really up to scratch for a 4 star hotel either. The hotel itself is nice enough but is very dated and could do with some sort of renovation to enable it to be a 4 star hotel. The location is out the way of most of romes activities but I sacrificed this for use of a pool and spa facility’s which I can’t even use now without racking up a massive bill. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean enough so can’t fault them in any of this. The breakfast however is shocking too which I was looking forward too as a family member recommended this hotel to me due to the lovely spa facilities and breakfast but it isn’t up to anything at all.
