Let me start by saying this is the only review you will need to read ignore all others. People on this website complain about the food they are wrong it’s amazing the chefs work so hard along with the wait staff constant top ups of the food. The DJ nicest guy you’ll ever meet he does the bingo which is fun, he will even help you get a discount down at the water sports . The place is VERY CLEAN rooms, pool and kitchen. Google says it’s a 4 minute walk from the beach it’s really like 2 minutes. No sun after 2 but if you go down to the beach most places will let you sit if you buy a drink. The hill isn’t too bad i don’t understand how anyone can complain about that. Overall an amazing hotel i would reccomend to anymore.

I stayed at this 3 star hotel for a week as part of a group walking holiday in a twin room, so didn't actually choose the hotel myself. Good points, and there are many, its not too big, and we had a friendly welcome. the breakfast is buffet style and had a good range of buffet options, breads, pastries some delicious cakes, yogurt and some fruit, cheeses and cold meats and a more limited selection of hot food. Queuing for the coffee machine was not ideal when several walking groups descend for breakfast at the same time. They have a small bar and a very pleasant outside terrace for drinks or relaxing and a balcony with a hot tub and sun chairs which we didn't get chance to use! The pool with its jets was nice especially after a long day walking with pleasant clean shower facilities although a little dark. The town of Moneglia is lovely, a great location close to a sandy beach and promenade with a lovely selection of restaurants. some beachside. In general nothing seemed over priced. The hotel owner put on a cookery class and dinner one night for our group of 13 as we were the only guests for that one night, which was very good fun and delicious! The staff were friendly and polite. Now the not so great stuff, they need a proper system for recording spending on extras such as wine and water as this led to some confusion at check out and was rather awkward, perhaps asking guests to sign so it can be crossed referenced rather than the staff just taking or trying to remember room numbers. Our room was the biggest disappointment, it was clean , it had a fridge and the water was always hot although the shower was small and not very powerful. However it was very basic, on the small side but the worst thing was the position. We were in a corner, facing and next to a wall with windows very close by and the outside shutter opened from the top, it felt a bill cell like! We didn't spend a great deal of time in it but had expected better. We had enquired about upgrading with our tour company prior to arrival for a balcony room but as it was a twin I don't think that was an option. I'm sure we were just unlucky as other guests seemed to have much better positioned rooms.

Right in the middle of Moneglia, close to everything; beach, restaurants, shopping and 10-15 minutes walk from train station. Stayed at room 304 with nice balcony and sea views from bed.. The hotel is in a great location, but the amenities were disappointing. The room offered no shampoo (only a liquid soap in a wall dispenser), the hair dryer didn’t work, the tissue box was empty, no blanket on the bed, and no blackout blinds (it gets very bright in the room even with the thin curta… more

The hotel is in a great location, but the amenities were disappointing. The room offered no shampoo (only a liquid soap in a wall dispenser), the hair dryer didn’t work, the tissue box was empty, no blanket on the bed, and no blackout blinds (it gets very bright in the room even with the thin curtains closed). On top of that the jacuzzi didn’t work and the breakfast offering was low grade. I mentioned this to the front desk, and they didn’t even offer an apology let alone some sort of compensation. They just didn’t care. The shame is the place could be so much better with just a little effort and care. Not worth the almost 200€ they charged.
