Our stay at A-ROSA Lago di Garda in Salò was simply wonderful from start to finish. We spent five nights as a group of three on a half-board basis, and already from the booking process everything felt effortless and professional. A special thank you to Philipp in reservations for his fast, friendly responses — it gave us confidence before we even arrived. Arrival was warm and personal. The reception team greeted us with genuine friendliness (a particular shout-out to the lovely lady with glasses and to Izabela at check-in), our luggage was promptly taken to room 569, and parking in the underground garage was easy and convenient. The hotel itself is stunning — breathtaking views over Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains, beautifully heated indoor and outdoor pools, and a spa area where you can truly relax. The spa staff were welcoming and attentive, which made our wellness time extra enjoyable. Half-board was an excellent choice. Every evening the dishes were beautifully prepared and varied, and as vegetarians we were delighted to find more than enough tempting options. Matteo deserves special thanks for guiding us to our regular dinner table on the first night and personally greeting us each evening — such a thoughtful touch. Rebecca, Andreas and the whole restaurant team provided warm, attentive service throughout our stay. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful every morning with excellent bread, a great selection of fresh products, and the option to have eggs made exactly how you like them. Bianca’s cheerful morning greetings were a lovely way to start each day. Our room was spotless on arrival and maintained very well throughout the stay. Housekeeping regularly restocked coffee and drinks, making everything comfortable and easy. One afternoon we were able to sit outside despite the season not being fully underway — enjoying food and drinks with a breathtaking lake-and-mountain view was unforgettable. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle into town at set times was also a convenient extra. If I had to suggest one small improvement it would be the addition of tissues in the room and a touch more attention to dust on the floor. These are minor points in an otherwise outstanding experience. Overall, every member of the A-ROSA team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Between the incredible location, the excellent food (especially for vegetarians), the relaxing spa, and the truly friendly staff, this stay left us full of praise. Bravo — we hope to return soon!

Where do I start with this amazing place? This was our first trip to Italy. We had dreamed of going for a very long time, and had high hopes. It did not disappoint. The hotel is about a half hour downhill walk away from the town of Salò, which is right on the Lake. Salo has plenty of bars and restaurants, and we had a lovely time sat with a drink and the free snacks you’re given, people watching. The walk back is quite steep but they have a free shuttle that can drop you off and pick you up again. There are also passenger ferries that take you to the different towns and villages up and down the lake, which makes this hotel an ideal base for exploring. The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s unique in its decor. It’s modern but still has some quirky touches, like swing seats which we loved. It has an amazing view over Salo and the lake. We stayed in a room with private garden and view of the lake, and again the view from our room was beautiful. The doors were sound proofed so we were never kept awake by the various birthday parties and weddings that took place while we were there. We stayed half board. The food was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet which had everything you could ever want. Dinner was a choice of four courses and a huge salad bar. The service very efficient and friendly. What makes this place so special is the staff. They are the beating heart of this hotel. They care about it. They’re proud and happy to work there. Our stand outs are Magda at the pool bar. She is very attentive, friendly and very good at her job. The bar staff were next level. Luka, George and of course the lovely Massimo the bar manager were just the nicest people you could ever meet. Very knowledgeable about the history of Italy. Very easy to talk to. They made our holiday so much better. Thank you all. We will definitely be back.

We had such a lovely stay at the A-ROSA Hotel in Lake Garda! The hotel itself is stunning – very modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The location is gorgeous, and our garden room exceeded expectations with a much better view than we imagined. The reception team were so friendly and welcoming – nothing was too much trouble for them. The bar staff, especially the bar manager, were absolutely fantastic; we had such a good laugh and really enjoyed spending time there. The spa was another highlight. The choice of saunas and steam rooms was impressive, and the heated indoor/outdoor pool meant we could still enjoy it on cloudy days. The rooftop pool was on the cooler side, but absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious every morning with plenty of choice – and the added touch of free prosecco for mimosas was a real treat. We also appreciated the free parking, which made having a car really convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend A-ROSA for a relaxing, luxury break in Lake Garda.
