I loved my room! It was on the top floor with no one above me or next to me. I had wonderful views to the east and west of the city's rooftops, spires and bell towers. The 'fruiti vendolo' was just across the pedestrian way from the hotel with beautiful produce. Lidia and Matteo were very friendly and helpful! All of the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices of bread, meat, fruit, yogurt, granola, etc. and the fresh squeezed orange juice was a delight. The location is quiet. As soon as the sun set, the pedestrian corso emptied. I slept very well. The mini-fridge with still and frizzante water is really helpful, especially when I bought produce from the fruiti vendolo. I don't eat out for every meal. Sometimes, it is nice to have a 'picnic' in your room for the evening meal when your feet are tired and you already spent a lot of money for lunch. I stayed there for 5 nights. After a long drive there from Udine on a Saturday, I left my rental in the car park and explored Brescia that Sunday. There is so much to see! The Vecchia Duomo and adjacent church, the roman ruins and Museo di Santa Giulia. I've never seen so many Roman artifacts in my life and I spent a semester in Rome. Brescia felt and looked like Rome, but calmer and cleaner. I highly recommend staying there as it is easy access to Lake Como and the closer lakes as well as Bergamo and Verona, which are gorgeous cities.

“Excellent B&B”

A lovely B&B with very welcoming & friendly staff. Our room was lovely with a modern bathroom. It was on the top floor, so it was a bit hot, but the air conditioning sorted this out. The location is great, right in the centre of old Brescia, easy to walk to the Brixia Roman sites and lots of wonder… more

A lovely B&B with very welcoming & friendly staff. Our room was lovely with a modern bathroom. It was on the top floor, so it was a bit hot, but the air conditioning sorted this out. The location is great, right in the centre of old Brescia, easy to walk to the Brixia Roman sites and lots of wonderful restaurants & bars on the doorstep. Highly recommend staying here.

“Excellent stay”

We were a group of six cyclists and we all had an excellent one night stay here. There was a safe place to keep and charge our bicycles and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. We were a group of six cyclists and we all had an excellent one night stay here. There was a safe place to keep and charge our bicycles and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a historic building that has been beautifully restored, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I stayed here with my wife to attend the start of the Mille Miglia. What a lovely boutique hotel in a very central area of Brescia. Lidia and Matteo and Lidia’s sister are really helpful and friendly and serve up a lovely breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean with really stylish rooms. It has to be said it has the slowest elevator known to mankind but I wouldn’t let that put anyone off, it has definitely become my “go to” place in Brescia. Well done Lidia and team!
