“A wonderful experience.”
This is a wonderful hotel. Service is superb, nothing is too much trouble. During the stay it was my wife's birthday and the hotel gave her a bottle of champagne and some lovely flowers. Quality of food is outstanding. We would definitely like to return.

“Brilliant and worth every penny.”
The best hotel I've ever stayed in and we've just spent two nights in the Presidential Suite at the Tivoli in Florence followed by three nights at the Metropole in Venice. People say it's a bit pricey, but this luxury, service and amazing location doesn't come cheap. Brilliant and worth every penny.

“Not up to scratch”
The service in this hotel very sadly does not live up to the setting. A few small examples: on no day did any of the pool staff ask if we needed or wanted water or a drink of any kind; there was no milk for coffee in the rooms and we had to ask for it; at breakfast the toaster took 3 or more times … more
