Loved our overnight stay not too far from the airport in this quaint hotel in the industrial side of Milan, we had secure parking on the premises, very clean and spacious rooms, nicely decorated. Ok plus points: this is a nice B&B. Rooms are very well furnished and very clean. I loved the décor and the general style of the rooms. Breakfast is fine – adequate rather than amazing. I’ve stayed twice and each time only met one member of staff but he is very helpful although communication can be limited (see below). The B&B was ideally situated for my personal requirements as I had a work meeting nearby but it is not in a central location. Negative points: There is no getting around the fact this place is situated in the middle of a building site. Literally. There are half complete apartments surrounding it and it is difficult to find unless you are in a taxi (and even that can be a challenge). I stayed here last year for work and when I realized I needed to return this year I hoped the scaffolding and general construction craziness would be less of an issue but if anything it seemed worse this time. I did not feel safe walking back through the very dark construction site on my own after an evening out and had a friend who lives locally escort me to the gate. As was the case last year, it was tricky getting into the building as no-one answered the bell and opened the door when I first arrived. The very nice guy on duty speaks limited English so practice a few key lines in Italian. The instructions to get in and out of the building which involve various door codes and pressing lots of buttons is really quite complicated. I had a pre-arranged rate through booking.com but when I arrived the staff member made a big show of stating that I ‘should’ be pay xxx (which was more than my booking.com amount) but he was going to give me a ‘discount’ and charge me less. The discounted amount was actually the correct, previously arranged rate. This has happened two years running and is bizarre! I do like this place but I would not stay here if my work did not require it.

“Great location if you are going to San Siro”

Booked 2 rooms for one night to go to a concert in San Siro, location very practical as it is walkable distance and parking is included. A bit difficult to find and nobody was there initially to open the door but all ok within few minutes. Rooms were clean, quiet and newly furbished.

Pro: - clean - well working air conditioner - spacious room - tram, bus, bakery, supermarket is close - well secured Con: - refrigerator is only in the common kitchen (which could be closed) - breakfast is not included (if you do not book on the full price, which is 110Euro) - bad communication I think my situation was unique, but for some reason paying in forward was unsuccessful via booking and we found out that only at arrival. The host missed to warn us about that and that was quite a suprise there. Because the owner does not speak english too much it was hard to understand what really happened. We could have avoided that weeks before by better communication. Because the breakfast was not included (booked on reduced price), the fridge was closed too. And you do not have mini fridge in the room, so you should forget the cold beer in the evening... :( The bathroom was nice and clean, but there were some small faults. The building is well secured, so you and your things are in safe. The overall picture is good, but it does not worth the full price (110 Euro/night). We stayed there 3 nights and booked it for ~71 Euro/night, which is just OK. So it is good, but ask the host to be able to use the fridge! And you do not need to pay extra for the breakfast, there are a few bakery and coffee shops nearby! Oh and if the wifi is not working at all after some time, just unplug and plug back it's adapter in the corridor and that will resolve the issue.
