We stayed at this property at the end of June 2026 and were truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality we received throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, Matattia at the Front Desk and Daniel in the restaurant stood out for their warm, attentive service. Their genuine friendliness and professionalism made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The ladies at the Shiseido Spa were equally wonderful, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience, while the front-of-house management team consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. A special thank you goes to Nicole, the Training Concierge Associate. Her recommendation for a day trip to Lake Como was outstanding and became one of the highlights of our vacation. Her local knowledge and thoughtful guidance added tremendous value to our experience. We are grateful to the entire team for making our stay so memorable and would not hesitate to recommend this property to others. We look forward to returning in the future.

“Wow”

We only stayed here for one night, but I wish that we had more time in this hotel. We had two rooms, a standard king and a suite. We only stayed here for one night, but I wish that we had more time in this hotel. We had two rooms, a standard king and a suite. The standard room is spacious and will be more than enough for couples. The toiletries are first class. While the location is convenient for those arriving or departing from Milano Centrale, if you need to go to the shopping area there's a convenient shuttle. The staff is great, we had such good experiences with the front desk and the concierge that we enthusiastically recommend this property.

This is the ONLY hotel we stay at in Milan and it should be your only hotel too! Two years ago a friend of ours told us to stay here and it has never disappointed. The location is perfect, walking distance from the train station and tons of great restaurants. The staff is extremely accommodating. We travel with our teenage daughter and her wheelchair and they treat her like a princess. They are also so great at always having a roll away bed for us - even reaching out in advance of us contacting them, based on previous bookings to check in with us first to see if it's needed. The last time we stayed, it was just for one night so we could have a great night sleep before our long flight home. One of the managers upgraded us b/c our room wasn't ready on time. I didn't ask, they just did it and said, "we want you to have a restful stay for your only night with us." I mean, just WOW. On that last stay, we had to leave early for the airport and they allowed us to take food from the breakfast that was included with our stay. Manuel ensure we had two piping hot cappuccinos, he also offered to have fresh fried eggs made for us, even before they were open. He provided to go boxes and really helped us to have a great morning and sent us off caffeinated and on a full belly. We will always come back to the Excelsior...and we can't wait to do so.

We stayed at the hotel during the European heat wave in June. While our room and some of the common areas were often quite warm, we still had a pleasant stay overall. Our room was a small suite overlooking the main road in front of the hotel, so there was always plenty of activity, including traffic and the streetcar. The suite was smaller than we expected, but it was comfortable and well-appointed. It had everything we needed, and we were pleased with the accommodations. The biggest advantage of the Excelsior is its central location. You're within easy walking distance of many of the city's top sights, restaurants and attractions. One downside was the hotel bar, which we found to be extremely expensive. Paying about $30 USD for a single drink felt excessive. We paid €2,500 for a two-night stay in the suite, which seemed quite expensive for what we received. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay. The excellent location is the hotel's biggest selling point, but the high room rates and expensive bar made it feel like a less compelling value.
