Ok, Milan is expensive. The closer you stay to the fashion action areas, the more expensive it gets. Residence De La Gare is set more on the outskirts of the city and you need to travel a little bit to get to the action. BUT DONT LET THIS STOP YOU. “Great Accommodation for Milan exploration”
The location, service and accommodation was spot on. All of the relevant ancillaries such as kettle, coffee maker, fridge etc were provided and the staff were extremely helpful. We found it a superb base for exploring Milan. As it is situated very close to Central Station it is great for access.
