“Perfect for a budget visit to Milan”

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 days when we visited Milan last month. The breakfast is classic Italian a Croissant and a coffee at the café next door beautiful pastry and the option of fruit juice if you don't want a hot drink. The staff are great too. “At best Average”

With a GPS it was not difficult to find it. The staff knew very little e fenglish, we had booked a quadruple room but the room that we got was with two small double beds which was not suitable for us, but it was changed without a trouble. There was no lift and we had to pull up our luggage to third… more

Frequently asked questions about Residence Politecnico Bovisa

  • Does Residence Politecnico Bovisa have good guest reviews?

Yes, guests at Residence Politecnico Bovisa have highlighted that: Me and my partner stayed here for 6 days when we visited Milan last month. The breakfast is classic Italian a Croissant and a coffee at the café next door beautiful pastry and the option of fruit juice if you don't want a hot drink. The staff are great too. The hotel staff don't speak much English buts that a holiday, if you show them what you want to say through Google translate they are more than happy to assist and we picked up the main italian words pretty quick. Having never spoken a word before! The staff were all really lovely though. The room was perfect for what we needed, and the sheets and towels were changed daily without fail. There was hardly any noise except the train station tannoy but with the windows shut you couldn't hear this. Travelling to the city is easy with the train only costing €1.50 each way (valid for 90 minutes in the Milan urban area if you want to ride around for a bit) (don't get taxis they are overpriced when the public transport is so easy to navigate) I would recommend downloading the Trenord app to check departures (Milano Villapizzione is the easiest station to access)and which train you need if you stay here it makes life so much easier. Porto Garibaldi is only 2 stops (5 minutes) from the accommodation and from there you can get to every major tourist and shopping area in the city. There are a few shops about 10 minutes walk from the accommodation. Your best bet is the penny market which is just past Bovisa Rail station straight down the road and across the square. Or there is the Essenlunga in the opposite direction a short walk through Milano Villapizzione station and about 5 minutes at the other side, they also have self service machines which are easy to understand if your grasp of the Italian language is not quite there. Getting to the accommodation is rather easy too with a coach transfer from the Milano Malpensa Airport to the city centre costing only €8 per person, this stops by Centrale Station and you can jump on the Trolley bus from there to Bovisa and walk about 5 minutes past Bovisa Station to the accommodation. All in all we had a wonderful week away and with the price of the accommodation and the ease of travel to everything it took a lot of stress out of the visit and allowed us to relax and take things at our own pace. I would definitely recommend staying here.
