We spent 8 nights at the Hotel Capri in July 2026 and it was FABULOUS! Staff are all so lovely, friendly and helpful and many got to know us very quickly which was nice. We stayed in a Deluxe Room (20) with balconey and lake view and it was lovely. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped (perhaps an addition could be a box of tissues) and serviced daily. Staff had clearly noted my request at time of booking for a tea tray and this was brought to our room within minutes of us checking in. The breakfast is excellent - such a choice, all beautifully presented and constantly being topped up. Eggs (scrambled or fried plus bacon) were cooked to order and delicious! The restaurant offers the most amazing food - every day (except Tuesday when the kitchen is closed) as well as an A' La Carte menu they offer a daily 3 course set menu for €30 - the food was sublime as was the presentation! Drinks are very reasonably priced as are the daytime snacks. The pool and jacuzzi, like the rest of the hotel and grounds are spotless and well maintained. The gym has a good range of equipment - I never had an issue, in fact only saw one other person in the 9 days I used it!! It isn't air conditioned so was warm. Treatments and a sauna are also offered but I didn't use either so can't comment further. It is a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Malcesine - tip use the bottom road (accessed down steps opposite the hotel) this avoids you needing to walk along the main road. There are lovely lakeside walks in both directions and it is a good base to explore this part of the lake. The views and scenery are stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already sorting dates to return in 2027. Thank you to all at Hotel Capri for making our stay so special.

“Lovely hotel”

Spent a week at Hotel Capri and loved it. Great views of Lake Garda, nice pool and grounds, great restaurant and very helpful staff.

While on our annual holiday in Karnten Austria, on the recommendation of a family member, we decided to drive to Lake Garda and stay at the Hotel Capri and we are so glad we did. The hotel itself is located a short walk up from the lake, but would be a very easy walk for most people. This is ample parking behind the hotel, although it's not the easiest to notice when initially arriving. We actually had to turn our car around and drive back down the hill before we saw it. Indeed a frantic young lady stopped her car and asked where she could park her car somewhere near to the hotel. She was most relieved when I pointed out the large car park. Our room was delightful, with open views to the lake and with wonderful air conditioning, which was very much needed. All of the staff were wonderful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. When we went down for breakfast, we found that our room had been attended to already. Breakfast. Now, usually in Italy we find the breakfasts to be woefully lacking. A great cup of coffee and some sweet pasties. Not so here though. The breakfasts were incredible. An incredible amount of choice and very high quality ingredients. There was almost too much to choose from! (if there ever is such a thing) Outside is a pool and sunbathing area, which we used on one occasion as it was really very hot to sit outside. There are plentiful sun loungers and the staff are happy to take orders for drinks etc. in summary, we are already talking with the owner about visiting again next year for a few days, as we liked it so much Highly recommended

“7am Alarm call every morning ….”

We spent 5 nights in this nice hotel. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was a great selection - I couldn’t fault these 2 parts. Although if you are on holiday and want to sleep in past 7am in the morning, do Not book the “Green Rooms”, these 4 rooms sit right below the restaurant balcony, and from 7am every morning when the breakfast buffet opens up, the scraping and banging of the metal dining chairs on the hard tiled restaurant floor starts like a loud orchestra. And this noise doesn’t stop untill breakfast stops at 10.30am. This banging echos around the room constantly for the next 3.5 hours. When on holiday sleep is so important to us and we really didn’t get much here. Wouldn’t recommend these rooms at all. Also the rooms are very small, with little space apart from a bed. There was also a security camera above our balcony which made us feel uneasy.
