Stayed here with Leger Holidays. Great location, just by the Lake and a short stroll to the shops etc. Nice and clean although the rooms were very variable in quality. My room was quite small and garishly decorated although it was perfectly adequate for two nights. Friends had a much larger room with a balcony! The food was amazing, two sets of canapés followed by an excellent three course meal! Breakfast was also good but a bit chaotic with lots of people boiling their own eggs. Nice friendly staff who were keen to help plus a nice bar.

“A lovely location ”

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. There are stunning views over Lake Maggiore and the hotel has a lakeside garden for guests. We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. There are stunning views over Lake Maggiore and the hotel has a lakeside garden for guests. The room was clean and tidy and we had our own balcony. We certainly enjoyed the food and service. Be aware that the hotel is on a busy main road with traffic very heavy at certain times of the day.

We stayed a few nights in this hotel and were a bit disappointed. The hotel needs to be redone. The wall paper is peeling, the fan in the bathroom doesn’t work at all, I’m not really sure the door locks. We had a room with lake view (+), which means the balcony is directly on the main road and therefore loud at night (-). The guests in the lobby can be easily heard through the door late into the night, and in the morning (around 730) the maids begin their work - our room was across from the storage room, so we could also hear everything. There is a main water drainage pipe in the wall next to our bed, so each time a guest uses water it is very loud. When we first arrived I genuinely thought the maids had not finished, because no pillows were on the bed (we had to grab some from the closet) and there were two glasses on the night stand with no water. Water isn’t a must, but then why the glasses? The hotel does have free parking, but first come first serve, so we didn’t trust to take the car out in the afternoons. It is walking distance to the main part of the city (15mins) as well as a small shop (10mins). There are plenty of restaurants within 5-20min walking distance. Breakfast was very good. Bread, rolls, filled croissants, fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), jams butter and something similar to Nutella, cereal and Müsli, yoghurt, and milk / juices. Try the red juice - that one is very tasty. Staff also very friendly, when we asked for more pillows they provided them immediately.
