Amazing stay. Our daughters (7/9) totally love this Hotel. They are very attentive to every little details to make the stay comfortable for kids and parents too. Upon arrival the receptionist was so nice (I think her name was Chiara) who I believe took even note of where my kids were actually sleeping (one sharing the king size bed) and had the houskeeping setting slippers and bathrobe exactly where they were supposed to sleep! This is 5 star service!! At the restaurant we were also impressed with Marco, one of the waiter nice and professional, very knowledgeable on wines and details about the general needs in the hotel. The rooms are specious and cosy. This was not our first sta but we will definitely come back again. Ps. My daughter (9) was literally in tears when we left (she did not want to go away!!)

We definitely recommend this hotel, after spending almost two weeks there, with our almost 1-year-old baby. The hotel provides everything you need for children: special food for babies/children, comfortable baby/children chairs, several game-rooms for children of various ages, warm swimming pools (30C and 34C, if I remember correctly) etc. Every day there are multiple trip options (included in the price), some are suitable for little children, and some for stollers, so everyone can find which trips to enjoy. The staff is very friendly.

The hotel is great and lovely scenery. The location is also perfect and the staff is nice!! Well done Marco at the restaurant so nice and also Bianca at the spa gave me a great massage. The only note is that some parts of the hotel can feel “cheap” for example the white labels in the lifts should be replaced with something prettier. In the room the minibar is too noisy, it woke us up in the night… not great at all. The food is great at the restaurant but could be better more sort of 5 stars vibe maybe. The spa is lovely and thankfully there is the adults only aerea! A note there though, the floor between the pool and the relaxing rooms is way too wet, it should be dried by the staff more often.

Had an excellent family holiday (2 weeks) at the Mirtillo Rosso. Close to many alpine locations, and also a daily outing/activity organised by the hotel that are child-friendly. Some examples: - We could borrow off-road baby strollers from the hotel to join these outings. - Dining in the restaurant for half-board guests is very quick and efficient. No need to worry about hungry babies - Baby room and Mini-club within the hotel - Ample childrens food, milk, etc in the food offerings - Amazing staff The rooms are very well adapted for young families, with much care and design. For example no sharp corners in rooms, baby gates, child-safe sockets. Sometimes the mini club arranges evening activities on the roof (e.g. dancing). We worried a bit with the level of noise, with our sleeping toddler in the room... Though she didn't wake up. Alagna is a wonderful location with many walks, trails and mountain environment. It is not well documented online, though we found it to be a great area, and we're very happy. When we booked the holiday, this property was still the "Mirtillo Rosso Family Hotel" and was thereafter incorporated into the NH hotels group. I hope that in future, NH retains the family feel of this hotel, and that this isn't lost. Speaking to other guests who had visited in previous years, they mentioned that while the hotel property is still identical, the mood and family atmosphere inside the hotel has noticeably changed since the NH integration.... I hope that this can remain a true family hotel.
