From the welcome received at the beginning of our stay till we departed, the service was excellent. The apartment was very modern and clean with everything that one might need for a good night's sleep. A lovely breakfast with a good variety of items was served on the rooftop and any worries about parking was solved by Monopoli adopting 2 zones in every street nearby - one free one chargeable. The property is ideally situated within a short walk of the old town, and can be heartily recommended.

Booked here for a couple of days and I couldn’t be happier. Staff were very polite and always available for anything. Breakfast was good and included some typical desserts from Puglia and served on a very cute terrace with view. The jetted tub is just the perfect thing to have in the room, a relaxing bath after a hot day on the beach. Really recommend it and I would come back for sure.

We recently stayed as a couple at the Murat bed and breakfast for four nights. My review will be completely objective. We are a 28 and 34-year-old couple from the United Kingdom. Antonio's communication was excellent. He provided us with a list of recommended restaurants and bars and answered any questions we had before and during our stay. Overall, we were satisfied with the price of our room, which was a suite with a jacuzzi bath. We did not use the jacuzzi, and there is an additional charge to use it. Upon arrival, we observed the absence of any personnel at the property to welcome us, likely due to our late arrival at 10:00 PM. The key was conveniently left in the door, accompanied by instructions provided via WhatsApp message. Our accommodation was situated on the first floor of the main building, with a modern elevator available for use if desired. While the room was commendably clean upon our arrival, it was unfortunately quite warm as the air conditioning had not been turned on prior to our arrival. The room itself was of an adequate size, as expected for a suite. It is important to note that only two pillows were provided for the large double bed, necessitating a request for additional pillows the following day. Antonio, the designated staff member, was present for breakfast each morning from 08:30 to 10:00 to assist and greet guests, with the exception of the morning of our departure, despite his prior assurance of being available for a conversation. The daily cleaning service provided fresh towels as needed. The location of the bed and breakfast was advantageous, situated just a short 10-minute walk from the center of Monopoli. Overall, we would rate our stay as satisfactory. There are a few areas where improvements could be made. Upon arrival, the room temperature was uncomfortably warm. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was turned off by the cleaning staff each day, resulting in the room becoming excessively hot again after a short absence. The hair dryer provided was not very powerful, so guests with long hair may want to bring their own. Furthermore, there was no iron or ironing board available in the room or upon request, necessitating a visit to a local laundromat for such services. The shower had a tendency to overflow onto the bathroom floor after approximately five minutes of use, posing a slipping hazard. Upon arrival, there were no coffee pods or cups provided for the Nespresso machine, and this issue persisted after the cleaners visited the room the following day. Consequently, we had to request these items, there were used coffee pods left in the machine from previous guests. The compact size of the safe may not accommodate even the smallest laptops. Therefore, it is advisable to refrain from bringing a laptop unless you are comfortable leaving it outside the room. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and lacked variety. The temperature in the breakfast area was warm, with only one fan directed towards the staff. The food selection consisted of cold rolls, miniature croissants, a single bland cereal option, several large cakes, small fruit pots, water, coffee, and a limited variety of jams and fillings for the cold rolls and croissants. Notably, there were no hot food items or toasters available. It is fair to say that we would stay here again despite the aforementioned issues. We hope that the bed and breakfast owners will consider these suggestions and make the necessary improvements. We spent two nights at this modern bed and breakfast. We walked from the train station, several blocks. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and a great way to start the day. Monopoli is a small place and not a lot was open in the area. Old Town was interesting as was the waterfront. We took a couple of day trips by train to other close towns.
