The hotel complex is large but well spread out . We stayed in the last week of the hotel so was very quiet and most of hotel was closed. The food was buffet and good choice. In summer the hotel would be very busy. If it rains which it did the week before we went you would get very wet. We were on an organised tour and given the choice would not stay there again. The all inclusive drinks were served in paper cups which was not the best.

“Great room, shame about the dining experience”

This place was real mix between great and terrible. The room/rooms we had was fantastic, everything brand new and clean with a pool right outside our door. New TVs with YouTube and netflix as well as standard Italian channels, a safe and nice comfortable beds, air conditioning that works well. Couldn't have asked for better from the room. However on the opposite end of the scale our dining experience at this resort left us very disappointed. We have been on 4 all inclusive holidays as a family but this resort was by far the worst when it comes to eating and drinking. If want an early breakfast so you can go out for the day forget it. If you want a late breakfast so you can have a lay in forget it. If you want dinner at 6 or 7 so you can go out for the evening forget it. They have a small window for each meal then the dining rooms close. Also there was not much variety at each meal, you eat what they cook or you don't eat at all. Other resorts we have stayed at offered much more variety and much better quality food. As a vegetarian I had no choices most meals. The rice and pasta salads they serve at lunch have chopped up ham left over from breakfast inside and the potatoes have chopped up bacon left over from breakfast in them. My daughter doesn't like pork and found it was the only meat on offer 6 days out of seven. If you want ice cream for desert it is one flavour a day with no choices. Most of the fried and baked items were stone cold. Not one pizza or fresh pasta in the week we stayed expecting to experience Italian food.On the plus side the deserts were very nice. But even more disappointing than the food is the table arrangement. You are not allowed to sit where you want but instead have a table assigned to you. We could not find ours in the numerous large dining halls so we asked a waitress who did not speak English or understand our weak Italian, so we asked another ect ect. After 5 attempts one waitress facetimed her husband at home who managed to translate that we wanted to know where our table was. We were then left standing for 10 minutes while she went to find our table. When we finally got to our table it was set with 2 chairs and a high/baby chair (our daughter is 15 years old) eventually we were seated for breakfast but very disappointingly every meal this was repeated with us having to ask for a chair or steal one from somebody else's table. To sum up the dining room from an English perspective just think Faulty towers but instead of one Manuel you have 20. To sum up our stay we enjoyed it. The beach and pools were nice the room great but the rules* and inflexible dining times took the gloss of what could have been a great holiday. * Loads of pool rules including showering before entering and bizarrely you must wear a hat in the pool or the life guards blow whistles and point at you untill you get out or put on your hat. (We have been to multiple hotels around Europe and never seen anything like this before)

Initially very quiet but after 3 days 400 workers from the north of Italy arrived for a long weekend courtesy of the companies they work for.Too many to get near the pool.Adapters brought from Britain did not work unless an extra piece was bought at the shop.! Menus were in Italian with no translation.Our opinion was they were not used to travellers yet .
