We have just return from Maritalia. We have chosen this hotel because of its location nearby the beach, immersed in greenery and also facilities offered: 2 good size swimming pools and the meals included. We found exactly what we were looking for. We were satisfied with the service we were offered, it was good value for the price we paid, although we feel that, to deliver the touch of luxury expected from a 4 star establishment, there is room for improvement. We have booked a superior room for a party of 4 and we had been allocated a 1 bedroom dwelling, large, spacious and clean, with a crisp, white and cream contemporary decor, in a quite location. We had enjoyed an end of terrace, quintet location where we can hear the sea. We liked very much the privacy offered the private courtyard each apartment has, with tables and chairs, a sun lounger as well as a rack for drying clothes. The only flaw of the apartment was the odour from the tub with jacuzzi adjacent to the bedroom due to probably water trapped in the drains as well as sleeping on a rather uncomfortable extendible arm chair, as a 3rd bed. Mosquito nets at all windows would have added to our comfort as there are mosquitoes around and we chose to sleep with open windows and doors. The air conditioning had proved insufficient to cool down the room at peak times,? the supply was exceeded by demand, being centrally operated, for the whole building. A kettle is provided and a supply of various herbal, green and black tea. There is a small fridge in the room and a small supply of 1 bottle of water 500ml/person is provided / day. The meals offered were cooked in a traditional Italian style. There was a fair choice of 2-4 main dishes, always a meat and a fish option at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is probably the less diverse meal of the day dominated by carbohydrates, with no diversity from one day to another. I was hoping to experience a diversity of fresh local produce: olives, tomatoes, cheeses and a larger diversity of fruits, in exchange for cakes, sweetened yoghurt. The coffee is nice and freshly brewed. The services at the bar are crowded at most times and very loud. The barmen did often choose to favour some customers against others. The most confusing part of the bar service is what drinks are included in the ‘all inclusive’ package. You can have a glass of wine and a glass of mineral water separately but you cannot have a Spritzer or you can have an expresso with a shot of Sambuca yet you cannot have the short of Sambuca on its own? Since there is no information available on what is included or not, we find it off putting to return to the bar, especially when some could get what others could not on the same board basis, without making any additional payments?! Customer services is otherwise polite and prompt. The reception staff has managed to overcome the language barieres with good will and readiness to help 10/10 for the waiters in the main restaurant, always there to help. My general feedback is positive even if there are both positive and negative thisngs. What's positive: It's a nice structure with 2 big and clean swimming pools, the staff was excellent in the evening entertainment, some great shows! I've been there mid of July with my family (wife and 2 kids - 4 and 2 years old). Nice room with a second shower outside. Something that make me not so happy was thet the wifi is available only at the reception area with no table/sofa/couch where to stay using wifi. Cleaning of the room and especially of the bathroom was very poor. Restaurant is very crowded and you cannot have your own table but just try to find one free everytime - quite tipical if you have All Inclusive formula, but with 2 young kids is not the best way to manage it, especially during high season. Anyway in general we enjoy our stay, and the Mini Club for age 3+ was nice.

“Good”

the Entertainment was very good. Lunch and Dinner nothing special. Breakfast good. Orlando, the waiter, should be head waiter. Other waiters are not very kind.All in all I find this as a 3 stars village (apart from the price).

High expectation, unfortunately it was a negative experience. Quality of food was poor and in quality low. I’ve tired to receive more information about room accomodation but answear was not clear. Globaly high expectation but negative experience reported.
