“Lakeview has a downside”

Lake views were wonderful but events at nearby Lido on lakeshore were very noisy. Loud music was played until at least 11pm on two occasions and until after 1 am on another of couple of nights. Lake views were wonderful but events at nearby Lido on lakeshore were very noisy. Loud music was played until at least 11pm on two occasions and until after 1 am on another of couple of nights. It was impossible to sleep with balcony door open and room was too hot if doors and window closed. No air con. Room ok but furnishings need improving. Safe worked well, plenty of hot water but there was an empty space where a fridge would have been expected. No English TV Food alright although I only had pasta once because it was so hard. Starter buffet had something for everyone. Missed toast at breakfast. Table not covered on our waiter's day off so service haphazard. Staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel is really well situated for the stunning views of the lake and mountains. It is very clean and well kept. But...............the owner is a horror of a man. He doesn't appear to like the residents and shows his distaste at every request. He doesn't have enough staff either upstairs manning the bar area or downstairs in the restaurant. Preferring to serve the Italians before anyone else. So the wait for food to be brought out by the two waiters was forever. Often being served a dish that you had not ordered. The food was average for Italy. But one evening the pasta was so hard and dried up that a number of us complained to be met by a shouted, "IMPOSSIBLE". To get a drink from the bar you first had to find someone to serve you and then, for whatever you requested, it had to be fetched from downstairs? Obviously the pumps on the bar don't work. Which caused much huffing and puffing if he was the one serving. The weather was incredibly hot, 33-34 degrees and a fridge in the room would have been a boon. But the hole where the fridge had once been in the dressing table unit was empty. What a shame that this man does not appreciate the people who are paying his wages and I would not recommend staying there to anyone.

Perfect location, with available free parking. Working wifi and nice service. Room for ski and ski boots mostly cold so no chance to dry it there or… more

Perfect location, with available free parking. Working wifi and nice service. We had an issue with room temperature which you can’t control from the room and every night automatic system turned it off. No chance to dry anything. Room for ski and ski boots mostly cold so no chance to dry it there or in the room. Apart of that we missed restaurants open during the day in the city.
