I stayed with my group Art Junctions here is September 2017 and found the property delightful. The location is ideal for touring as it is close to The Chiusi exit of the A1 Auto strada so easily accessible from the highway, yet in the countryside. The towns of Cetona, Chiusi,Montepulciano,Pienza are all easy to get to and for those travelling by train, the Chiusi train station is only 10 mins away by car and from there Florence or Rome are an easy train trip away. The property has wonderful olive groves and acres of vineyards for walking in and the meals produced with local ingredients are lovely. We had a lovely time here.

“Just as great the second time around”

I first stayed at this property back in 2011 had a great experience, returned in May 2015 and enjoyed it just as much and looking forward to returning again. Travelling with a group of friends, we were 5 in total and stayed at the Borgo apartment. This was a painting holiday for the group, and the beautiful grounds on this property were our daily inspiration. From the expansive vineyards to the olive groves and the beautiful views surrounding the property. Our accomodations: Bedrooms were a good size, with plenty of closet space. Four bedrooms in total (double beds) with 3 bathrooms, 2 en-suite. Small kitchen with fridge and stove and a large dinning /living area. Breakfast: For a continental breakfast it was excellent. It was included in our price and there was plenty of choice. Fresh yogurt made daily, with a choice of cereals, toast, jams, freshly baked croissants, other fresh pastries, fresh orange juice, lots of coffee choices, late, cappuccino, express. Dinners: We dinned in 3 times – Each dinner had a starter, a fresh pasta dish, a meat dish, dessert and included house wine. The portions were quite generous and the pasta dishes were outstanding. I also particularly loved the lamb dish. For 25 euros you get really good value and a delicious meal. Service: Angeletta was a gracious and caring host. When a group member got ill, she personally went looking for a pharmacy that would be open on a Sunday, and got the medication she needed. She also arranged for us to have a tour/visit with a local artist couple, which was enjoyed tremendously by the group. Angeletta translated for the group. Massimo and his wife Gabriela, looked after us really well, daily meals and whatever else we needed. WiFI While there was no wifi in the rooms, we were able to access it morning and evening through the restaurant, which turned out to be sufficient to stay connected with family and friends. Location: Minutes from the beautiful town of Cetona, a must see! Also very close (10 min) to the Chiusi train station.

Located just 3 km from Cetona town Il Pornelleto is just over the motorway in the countryside. Really rustic, it offers different size apartments. We stayed in the main building where we basically had the entire place to ourselves. Sylvie's hospitality is fantastic and she allowed us to have access to the huge dining/living area, the kitchen and light the fireplace. We all felt like being at home. 1km down the road on the property is the restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely, varied breakfast and one evening we had dinner. Sylvie prepares a 3 course meal incl. Wine for only €20 per person. The menu varies daily based on what fresh local produces she is able to get. Recommend this place for its location and hospitality.

Stayed at this property for two weeks in mid September 2017 and it was awesome! A real authentic Tuscan farmhouse/villa situated in a large acreage full of olive groves and vineyards where you can walk and explore the property whenever you want. The farmhouse is large with lots of space to lounge and each bedroom has unique features and its own bathroom. The views are simply gorgeous! The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our group really enjoyed the fantastic Tuscan cuisine prepared by the chef. She is excellent at using local, seasonal ingredients and the food was a major highlight of the trip. Fresh and flavourful, it was authentic and the hand-made pasta was delicious and highly anticipated by our group. The local wine was also generously provided with our dinners. Our group had 3 daily meals included and the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this property.
