Situated on the first floor (with no lift) of an historic building right in the centre of town, Bed and Breakfast Bel Duomo is close to all the most important shops and restaurants of the city centre, and is less than a 10 minute walk (about 600 metres) away from Florence’s main railway station, Santa Maria Novella, from which the airport is easily reachable via a shuttle bus service.Bed and Breakfast Bel Duomo is close to all the main museums and historical sites of Florence. Look to your left as you step out into the street, and you will see the famous Baptistery of Saint John ahead of you, next to the Duomo with Brunelleschi’s Dome, and Giotto’s famous bell tower. A right turn takes you to the Medici Chapels at the other end of the street (about 50 metres away). Piazza Signoria is a five minute walk away, as is the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi art gallery, while a stroll around the Piazza del Duomo and a left turn take you to the Accademia Museum, with Michelangelo’s statue of David.

Excellent location right on the Piazza Duomo... ring the doorbell and check in on the 2nd floor... there is no lift as it's such an old building... staff are very friendly and helpful and will give tips on where to eat and visit etc... lovely room with a balcony and view of the Duomo... would stay … more

“Fantastic Location!”
Steps away from Santa Maria del Fiore, the location is unbeatable. The place has lots of character, all the amenities you could need and the staff and owner are friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, 1 min to Duomo and 10 minute walk from station. Room good size and modern bathroom, good shower. Cleaned daily.
