Very nice B&B. Staff was helpful and spoke English well. Our suite had a full kitchenette. A supermarket was just a 7 or 8 minute drive away. 20 minutes walk would get you to the center of Florence. Very nice B&B. Staff was helpful and spoke English well. Our suite had a full kitchenette. A supermarket was just a 7 or 8 minute drive away. 20 minutes walk would get you to the center of Florence. If you prefer taxi, that costs less than 10 euros. If you need laundry service, an automatic laundromat "Wash & Dry" is on the way to Florence, on the street "Via dei Serragli". Plenty of free parking space on the street.

“A beautiful 5 night stay”

we stayed here with our two children and we had a marvelous time. Our option was self catering and it had great wifi. There is a large supermarket 3 stops on a bus up the road. we stayed here with our two children and we had a marvelous time. Our option was self catering and it had great wifi. There is a large supermarket 3 stops on a bus up the road. The 36 bus outside can take you to the train station. We walked to the town every morning and although it was a 20 min walk we enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Great stay in Villino il Leone”

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed the place. We were in the villa attached to the main building and we were well looked after but not bothered once settled which is nice. Very nice room with separate bathroom and shower all looked new. Separate kitchen diner so very handy when we dined in.… more

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed the place. We were in the villa attached to the main building and we were well looked after but not bothered once settled which is nice. Very nice room with separate bathroom and shower all looked new. Separate kitchen diner so very handy when we dined in. Very handy for the city as just 10-15 stroll down the road and your there. All in all excellent place!

“Thought we were sleeping in a boiler room”

We checked in and the person behind the desk seemed in a rush to be elsewhere. Gave us sheet of paper with information for internet and breakfast. Helped us up the stairs with luggage and that was it. The room had a weird smell and was so hot that we left windows wide open while we went down town… more

We checked in and the person behind the desk seemed in a rush to be elsewhere. Gave us sheet of paper with information for internet and breakfast. Helped us up the stairs with luggage and that was it. The room had a weird smell and was so hot that we left windows wide open while we went down town. Came back - no one on the desk - you basically have to call them on the phone as the desk people only work certain hours. I think we may have just been unlucky with the room (I am hoping) it was very road noisy, every 20 mins or so it sounded like water was running through pipes in the ceiling and the wind was howling through a window!!!(Windows were shut) Need less to say did not get any sleep as this went on every twenty minutes - being wide awake realized that the noises were actually coming from the small fridge in the room !!!!! by this time it was 1 hour till alarm was due to go off. We were dreading the noise from next door as that was the breakfast room but it was quiet and empty when we were there for breakfast. Location was good about 20 mins into town. Upon check out the sign left stated that no one was there till 9am - fortunately we both arrived at the front desk and check out. Bonus was the fact that the parking was free.
