“Old school charm in a prime location”
The Hotel Paris is a grand old building with high ceilings and frescoes, and sweeping staircases. The staff are polite and helpful. There’s a delightful roof terrace. Most of all the hotel is in a great location close to the cathedral but not so close as to be disturbed by noise and bustle.

Very good, the staff was friendly, the room was big, the breakfast was good, the location was perfect. They have valet parking, renaissance style room.

“Really friendly staff”
Great hotel for solo travel. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and suggestions for non touristy places to visit. The room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed and gorgeous crisp bed linen. Breakfast room ceiling is phenomenal

“Faded grandeur”
This hotel was clearly once a splendid building (see the breakfast room ceiling), but now some of the fixtures and fittings need replacing or refurbishing. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Bathroom was cramped; you had to step over the toilet to get in to the bath/shower. We found our room… more

“Charming and well located! Staff is very helpful and nice !”
Nice hotel near the charming Florence center. Large rooms, charming classic antique decoration not only in the rooms but i the whole hotel. Staff very helpful and trying to please guests. Downside was the noise from street at night, as our room was on the street side. Strongly recommend this hotel !
